DESCRIPTION
The Benicia Moms Group provides a way for members to meet other moms, share common
interests, give and receive support, develop playmates for their children, and access a forum
that discusses a wide range of topics from parenting issues to baby-sitter references.
The Benicia Public Library contributes to the success of our diverse community by being a vital
center of learning, communication, culture and enjoyment.
A community-based center that focuses on providing information and referral services to
families and children. The FRC works with families to meet their needs and enhance the well
being of all family members.
90 percent of a child's brain develops in the first five years of life. Making those years count is
what First 5 California is all about. Their focus is to educate parents and caregivers about the
important role they play in their children's first (five) years.
Parent Education Classes - Our objective is to help parents gain parenting skills, understand
children's behavior, improve parent-child relationships, and provide positive methods to raising
children without violence.
North Bay Pediatrics started with a vision to provide comprehensive, specialized medical care

DESCRIPTION
Artcentric is a place to enrich art education for kids. For preschool age kids we offer ʺMom and
Me Art timeʺ featuring different projects every month.
We provide quality performance art education. Students may begin at age 3 and continue into
adulthood. Benefits of the program include music appreciation, health management and
community involvement. We work closely to find performance opportunities for our students.
LEGO and Science classes for preschoolers, drop-in play, birthday parties, and semi-structured
programs. Engineering concepts are taught by using Lego sets as a tool. Children build plastic
block creatures which come alive through ‘child-vision’, and through their stories, you see it too.
All instructors are highly trained and understand that no two students are the same; they
customize lessons to meet each individual student’s needs and personal swim goals. They
always use a gentle and encouraging approach, celebrating each milestone.
Our programming includes: •Private and group lessons for children ages three and up that
include music fundamentals: piano, voice, composition, theory and solfege (sight-singing)
•Music Together® classes for infants and preschoolers.

The first of its kind; a specifically designed play program using the multiple skills of both rugby
codes to create a fun and enjoyable environment whilst developing basic core motor skills.
All lead coaches are certified in CPR and first aid.
Classes offered for children ages 3 – 5 include ballet, tap, and tumbling. As a non-competitive
studio, we are dedicated to creating a classroom that develops self-confidence and builds selfesteem through movement, teamwork and fun with music! Serving Benicia for 42 years!
We serve Benicia and the surrounding community with high quality dance for ages 3 to adult,
beginning to pre-professional. Our professional staff of instructors provides training in ballet,
jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, tumbling and pre-ballet/tap classes.
An arts organization who strives to stimulate, educate and nurture cultural life in Benicia
primarily through the visual arts.
We teach children 3.5-12 to learn, understand and enjoy the "beautiful game "of soccer.
Our methods are fun, educational and inspire kids to be lifelong fans.
Offering classes for 3 and up to five them poise, confidence and strength. Helps children
develop balance, coordination and self-esteem.
