Thou my great Father and I thy true son,
Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one.

Riches I heed not, nor men’s empty praise,
Thou mine inheritance, now and always,
Thou and Thou only, first in my heart,
High king of heaven, my treasure Thou art.

HYMN OF ASCENT
“O For A Thousand Tongues to Sing”
Words: Charles Wesley, 1739/Music: Lowell Mason, 1839/Arr. Josh Bales
I was blinded by my sin, had no ears to hear Your voice,
Did not know Your love within, had no taste for heaven's joys.
Then Your Spirit gave me life, opened up Your word to me
Through the gospel of Your Son gave me endless hope and peace.
O for a thousand tongues to sing my great Redeemer’s praise,
The glories of my God and King, the triumphs of His grace!
Help me now to live a life that's dependent on Your grace,
Keep my heart and guard my soul from the evils that I face.
You are worthy to be praised with my ev'ry thought and deed.
O great God of highest heav'n, glorify Your Name through me.
CHORUS: How
BENEDICTION
Hear Him, ye deaf; His praise, ye dumb, your loosen’d tongues employ;
Ye blind, behold your Savior come, and leap, ye lame, for joy.
marvelous, how wonderful and my song shall ever be
How marvelous, how wonderful is my Savior’s love for me!
Jesus! The Name that charms our fears, that bids our sorrows cease;
‘Tis music in the sinner’s ears, ‘tis life, and health, and peace.
He breaks the power of canceled sin, he sets the prisoner free;
His blood can make the foulest clean, His blood availed for me.
My gracious Master, and my God, assist me to proclaim,
To spread through all the earth abroad the honors of Thy name.

CONFESSION OF TRUTH & THANKSGIVING

GOD’S PEOPLE CONFESS HIS WORD
1 Corinthians 15:50-58, ESV
ALL: I tell you this, brothers: flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of
God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. Behold! I tell you
a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a
moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet
will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be
changed. For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and
this mortal body must put on immortality. When the perishable puts on
the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to
pass the saying that is written:
“Death is swallowed up in victory.”
“O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?”
The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be
to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore,
my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the
work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.
“Christ is Risen”
Matt Maher & Mia Feldes/Arr. By Dan Galbraith and Frank Ralls/CCLI License #5242683
Let no one caught in sin remain inside the lie of inward shame;
We fix our eyes upon the cross, and run to Him who showed great love
And bled for us, freely You've bled for us.
CHORUS:
Christ is risen from the dead, trampling over death by death
Come awake, come awake, come and rise up from the grave.
Christ is risen from the dead, we are one with Him again.
Come awake, come awake, come and rise up from the grave.
Beneath the weight of all our sin, You bowed to none but heaven's will;
No scheme of hell, no scoffer's crown, no burden great can hold You down.
In strength You reign; forever let Your church proclaim.
O death, where is your sting? O hell, where is your victory?
O church, come stand in the light; the glory of God has defeated the night.
Singing O death, where is your sting? O hell, where is your victory?
O church come stand in the light; Our God is not dead, He's alive, He's alive.
LEADER: The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly,
and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one
must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under
compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to
make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things
at all times, you may abound in every good work. As it is written,
ALL:
“He has distributed freely, he has given to the poor; his
righteousness endures forever.”
LEADER: He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply
and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your
righteousness. You will be enriched in every way to be generous in
every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God. For
the ministry of this service is not only supplying the needs of the
saints but is also overflowing in many thanksgivings to God. By their
approval of this service, they will glorify God because of your
submission that comes from your confession of the gospel of Christ,
and the generosity of your contribution for them and for all others,
while they long for you and pray for you, because of the surpassing
grace of God upon you.
ALL:
Thanks be to God for his inexpressible gift!
“Doxology”

Praise Him all creatures here below,
Praise Him above ye heavenly hosts,
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Amen.

“Be Thou My Vision”
Traditional Irish, Arr. by Dan Forrest, trans. by Mary E. Byrne
Be Thou my vision, O Lord of my heart,
Nought be all else to me, save that Thou art,
Thou my best thought by day or by night,
Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light.
Be Thou my wisdom, and Thou my true word,
I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord;
