Tithe Receipts: 2014 Tithe Receipts are ready and will be distributed over the next two Sabbaths.
Black History: Next week is African Heritage Day. Let’s “Go Africa” in dress. Feb. 14 will be
Francophone/Central Amer. Heritage Day. The month-long celebration will culminate with a Parade of Nations
and an International Tasting Event.
Right Hand of Fellowship: The official welcome handshake will be given to our new believers on
Sabbath, Feb. 7. Baptismal Certificates will be distributed at that time.
Adventurer Club: We are excited to announce that our Adventurer Club meetings will resume
on Sabbath, Feb. 7th at 5:00PM in Kitaman Place. All Adventurers ages 4 - 9 should be ready with their Class
B uniforms (Club T-Shirts, jeans and sneakers).
Lose It to Win It: Feb. 7 - Apr. 25. Modeled after "Biggest Loser" we challenge you to lose something and
win something. Options: Blood Pressure, Bad Cholesterol, BMI, Blood Glucose. Attend the kick-off next week
with “Know Your Numbers” and let’s go.
Workshop: The Brooklyn North Churches will have an Officers’ Workshop on Feb. 8 at Bethel Church. The
workshop is for the following leadership teams: Deacons, Communications, Community Service, Lambs’
Corner, Youth Ministries and Personal Ministries. Workshop Hours: 9:30am-12:30pm.
Business Meeting: February 21 after AYM.
