Dear Sir/Madam,
Manav Sthali Mathematics Wing has been conducting Mathematics Talent Test for VI, VII, VIII,
IX, X, XI and XII standards since 1984. A wide participation and overwhelming response by the
students has made it a regular feature. Its main objective is to cultivate a positive and scientific
approach towards Mathematics.
We shall be holding XXXI Manav Sthali All India Inter School Mathematics Talent
Test in the month of January 2015.
We seek the participation of five students each from classes VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, XI & XII (A full
team of 35 students)

: Based on the syllabus prescribed by N.C.E.R.T for all classes but more
stress will be laid on problems based on Mental ability.

school office between 9.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. by
15th November, 2014.
: Entry Card for each participant should be photostated by
respective schools.
RULES AND REGULATIONS:
1. The participants must reach the venue latest by 9.00 a.m.
2. Only 5 students from each class will participate in the Talent Test.
3. Participants shall bring only Pen, Pencil & usual Geometrical instruments
(Geometrical box) with them.
4. Each participant should bring his/her Entry Card duly completed and attested
by the Principal of the participating school.
5. The names sent by the school shall be treated as FINAL.
6. No substitute will be allowed for the contest.
7. Trophy will be awarded to the school only on the basis of average percentage of school
team consisting of 35 participants (No Trophy will be given, if the school team consists of
less than 35 students) and it will be the responsibility of the winning school to arrange to
send back the trophy to Manav Sthali ‘R’ Block by February 2015.
8. Host school shall not compete for the Trophy.
9. Mobile Phones are not allowed inside the examination hall.
