BritishV8 2015 is returning to the “Home of Motor Racing” – Indianapolis, Indiana. The
“Three Stooges” recommend that you arrive on Wednesday, July 15th as we have a full
schedule of activities scheduled to begin on Thursday morning!
WEDNESDAY – JULY 15th – Arrivals and pizza/parking lot party in the evening at the Clarion
Waterfront Hotel. Registration opens! Don’t be late!
THURSDAY – JULY 16th – Registration open for stragglers. In the morning, we’ll do a “meet and
greet” and have some impromptu tech sessions. Wash station open if you need to remove the
road grime from your car following your journey to Indy. That afternoon we will head over to the

Skillman
Classic
Car
Showroom

collection; bring your billfold though, as most of these cars are for sale). Thursday evening we’ll
take a luxury motorcoach (provided) to downtown Indianapolis where a multitude of
restaurants, pubs, and other venues (dinner and entertainment on your own) await. There will be
multiple runs on schedule from the hotel to downtown and back.
FRIDAY – July 17th – In the morning, we offer a professional tech session from the folks of
Meguiar's and Harms Supply on auto detailing. After a brief break for lunch, we will head to
downtown Speedway about 1:00pm to visit the Dallara IndyCar Chassis Factory for a tour
(Dallara is the manufacturer of all IndyCar chassis currently being used. You will learn how they
make the carbon fiber components, see a movie on the company, and have an opportunity to
use their race simulators.) Be sure to check out http://www.indycarfactory.com/ . One admission
into the factory/tour is included with your registration. Additional tickets may be purchased.
Friday evening will find our group at The Union Jack Pub ( http://www.unionjackspeedway.com/
) for another evening of dinner (on your own), fun, show & shine, and more lie swapping. We’ll
wrap up the day in the parking lot of the hotel just in case we haven’t kicked enough tires or
swapped enough lies.
SATURDAY – JULY 18th – We’ll start the morning off with a visit to Speedway, Indiana to the
famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum where you’ll find an awesome collection of race
cars and racing memorabilia. We’ll take a Grounds Tour of the facility which will get you access
into the Media Center, pagoda, garages, as well as the museum itself. (Sorry, the track itself has
been rented by Richard Petty Driving Experience and will be unavailable to us.) One ticket for
the grounds tour is included with your event registration; additional tickets may be purchased.
Saturday afternoon we will conduct tech sessions in the parking lot of the Clarion. We also plan
on having an autocross in the parking lot. Our event banquet and auction will be held Saturday
evening at the hotel. One banquet (buffet) ticket is included with your registration – additional
tickets need to be purchased. After the banquet, join us in the parking lot of the Clarion for (you
guessed it!) more tire kicking and lie swapping.
SUNDAY – JULY 19th – We wish you a safe trip home after your three-day, fun-filled visit to
Indianapolis for British V8 2015!
