Memo from Coach Bill Archer TO: High School Coaches and Athletic Directors RE: Information for Coaches and Athletic Directors for the West Virginia State Wrestling Tournament 2015 We want to remind you of some of the issues for the State Tournament. Motels - Most of you already have your rooms for your team. If you have any problems, give me a call. As far as WVSSAC approved motels, any motel in the area you will be ok with WVSSAC. The Program - We do not have anything to do with the program. We will correct any mistakes in records, spelling and/or year in school at the coaches meeting Thursday at 6:05 PM. We will give you a program in the back. If you want more than one, you can buy an extra one. Wrestlers out - If for any reason you have a wrestler who can’t wrestle in the state tournament, you need to contact the 5th place wrestler’s coach and give me a call. Civic Center Entry - You can come any time you want on Thursday. We will be setting things up on Wednesday after 5:30 PM. Parking - We have some spaces in the back on a first come, first serve situation. I am working on free passes for the parking garage across the street. Passes - We do not give out any passes for extra people with your team. You can buy them at the backdoor. Coaches Passes - You get 2 coaches passes for 1 through 5 wrestlers and 3 coaches passes for 6-14 wrestlers. You can buy extra coaches and wrestler passes in the back. Weigh-in - Dr. Welker is in charge of the weigh in and the organization of the weigh-in room. Any questions should be directed to him. An out of town Doctor will be present at weigh-ins to make skin and health decisions. Pill - I will get a call from the WVSSAC around 9:30 PM and 10:00 PM Saturday night of regionals. I will call Dr. Miller and he will put it on WVMat.com. If you have any questions, please give me a call. Bill Archer School-304-525-5096 Home-304-522-3414 Cell-304-208-5729 William J.
