Valentine’s Day is approaching quickly. MHS will be offering affordable Valentine assortments so you won’t have to spend a
fortune or make a trip to a store. Pre-Sales will begin January 21st during both lunches; you will be able to pre-purchase a
$10, $15, or a $20 Valentine package any day of the week in the HS Office or in classroom #27.
Packages will be delivered on Friday, February 13th. We will have extra $10.00 packages available on that Friday.
$10 buys a bag of candy with card and balloon
$15 buys a bag of candy with card, balloon, and flower
$20 buys a bag of candy with card, balloon, flower, and stuffed animal
Students Mocha Monday is here! The library will be selling Mocha Awesomes on Mondays!

The chosen candidate will participate in the elementary school awards assemblies, the high school homecoming and other events. If
you're interested, please see Ms. Elkins in room 27.
Cheer Tryouts for 2015-2016 squad(s): sign-up in the office before February 20th. There will be a Mandatory Cheer
Candidate/Parent Meeting on Monday, February 23rd at 6:00 pm in the library.
GT students: if you are interested in attending the glassblowing classes on March 2nd and March 9th, come get your permission slip
in room 7. They must be returned by February 13. The first 20 permission slips returned will get to attend.

Every Thursday at lunch Fellowship of Christian Athletes meets in the commons to listen to a positive Christian message. There will
be food and EVERYONE is invited.
We will be voting for basketball homecoming king and queen on Friday morning at the beginning of first hour. Ballots will be in your
mailboxes on Thursday by 3 pm. Please have your students vote at the beginning of first hour and we will pick them up at 8:10.
Please do not fold the ballots.
Coronation practice will be at 9:00 am Friday morning. At that time please excuse the basketball homecoming royalty, all varsity
basketball players, basketball cheerleaders, Zoe Blair and Beecher Owens.
All 2015 Senior graduates need to bring a baby picture to Mrs. Kelley (room 1) or Mrs. Webster (room 7) by February 25. These
photos will be used to create a slide show for graduation day. Please make sure you have your first and last name on the back of the
photo so we can return them to you.
Teachers if you wish to participate in the graduation ceremony. Please send an email to me or Mrs. Webster. We will need to make
sure you have a gown and collar to wear for that day. Please respond by Friday, February 6. Thank you, Mrs. Kelley
Cheerleaders will be selling Valentine Gift Bags during 1st hour. They will be going from classroom to classroom.
Today is the last day to fill out the Data Match Survey. If you did not get one, or if you are in A.M. Vo-Tech, come by Mrs.
Lamberson's room (Rm. 25) and fill one out at some point today so you won't miss out!
Leadership Council members need to come to my room Tues. 2/10 @ lunch to work on Data Match results.

FROM THE PRINCIPAL’S OFFICE Students who plan to apply for a driver’s permit: The state requires you to have a form from the school when you go to take the test. The form needs to be current—the date should be within a week or two of the date you are going for the test. So, before you go, please come by the office and let us know so that we can prepare the form for you. Mr. Wright Attention, Boys: You have to register with Selective Service within a month of your 18th birthday; otherwise, you won’t be eligible for federal student aid. You can register online at www.sss.gov. It takes just a few minutes. FROM THE COUNSELOR’S OFFICE Freshmen and Sophomores: The Oklahoma’s Promise Program will provide up to five years of tuition at Oklahoma colleges to students whose family income does not exceed $50,000. Participating students must enroll during their 8th, 9th, or 10th grade year. See the counselor for additional information. If you graduated from Keystone or attended there at least one year and plan to enroll as a full-time student at a post-high school
institution, you are eligible to apply for the Keystone Teacher's Association Scholarship. For an application, come by the counselor's
office. The deadline to submit your completed application is Friday, April 3, 2015. Mrs. Childers
The Muscogee (Creek) Nation Higher Education Department will be hosting a Student Outreach and Resource day on February 7,
2015, from 9 to 2 at the Claude Cox Omniplex in Okmulgee. Representatives from colleges and universities will be there and free
pizza and drinks will be provided to prospective students and their families. Members of the Higher Education staff and members of
other educational and training departments of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation will be available for questions and to help students and
parents fill out forms. Come to the counselor's office for more information. Mrs. Childers
