COLLEGE OF Engineering, Architecture & Technology Freshman & Transfer Scholarships The College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology is proud to offer over $2.3 million in scholarships annually. Thanks to the generosity of alumni and industry donors, students in this college have many unique scholarship opportunities to assist them in pursuing their educational dreams. These scholarships vary in criteria, from GPA requirements to demonstrated financial need. Schol arships for Incoming Students: The OSU admission application serves as the primary scholarship application for incoming freshman and transfer students. By completing it, and indicating a major within the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology, you will be considered for nearly all scholarships based on eligibility. To be considered for all scholarship opportunities you must submit a completed admission application by February 1. CEAT Career Grant: The CEAT Career Grant provides assistance, as funds are available, to students with limited financial resources. We are pleased to offer this one-year grant to help you meet your educational expenses at OSU. Freshman Research Schol ars: The Freshman Research Scholars Program is an OSU program available to students in any discipline. It provides an opportunity for approximately ten-fifteen bright, ambitious CEAT students to extend their education beyond the classroom by engaging in cutting-edge research under the guidance of innovative faculty researchers. The College of Engineering, Architecture, and Technology partners with OSU to provide an additional $1000 to all CEAT Freshman Research Scholars. Allen Scholars Program is considered the premier engineering scholars program in the nation. W.W. Allen Scholars participate in special programs and activities to accelerate professional and leadership development, stimulate intellectual growth, develop career awareness and cultural perspectives, and develop interpersonal skills. Allen Boys & Girls Club Schol ars Program: This is an OSU exclusive scholarship program, awards an incoming freshman $60,000 toward a BS degree in engineering. This scholarship program was designed to benefit a person who was an active member of a Boys & Girls Club while in high school, and who wishes to pursue educational goals in the field of engineering. Qualifications: •Demonstrated leadership •Active member of Boys & Girls Club •Admitted to Oklahoma State University •3.0+ GPA | 24+ ACT or 1650+ SAT Benefits: •Scholarship awards in the amount of $15,000 annually • National and international travel •Leadership and professional development To apply, visit: http://www.ceat.okstate.edu/w-w-allen-boys-girls-clubprogram-apply-now Deadline = February 1, 2015 CEAT Schol ar Programs: The CEAT Scholar Programs include packages ranging from $13,000 - $16,000 (distributed at different amounts over four years) and provide educational experiences for a select group of students that will develop their technical competence, a broader world view, professional and public responsibility, and leadership abilities. Scholars are selected each year into these prestigious programs after attending the CEAT Scholars Interview Day. Students selected into the CEAT Scholar Programs participate in special lectures, tours, personal development activities, and summer tours in the United States and abroad. To be invited to CEAT Scholars interview day students must submit their application AND be accepted to Oklahoma State University by December 1, 2014.
