The Annual AHDA Conference is attended by over 500
delegates featuring the major UK animal health distributors
and their key management, procurement and commercial
staff. AHDA members represent 92% of the value of the
POM-VPS industry, employ over 3,900 SQPs and operate
over 1,200 retail stores.
The AHDA conference and exhibition is the recognised
industry showcase. With sell-out attendance from the
past four years, this event meets the demands of the
industry on all fronts. A unique networking forum with
a varied programme reflecting the very latest views,
trends and innovation, Gala Dinner, after-dinner speaker,
AMTRA SQP Awards, and prize draw provide a full and
varied event.
the exhibition
l On Tuesday 27th January our popular first session will
start at 11.30am with John Blackwell, President of the
BVA, providing the keynote speaker address on current
issues facing Vet and SQP distribution channels.
l Rick Clayton, Acting MD of IFAH-Europe, will give
a review of the draft legislation from the EU animal
medicines directive.
l Once again the last conference session on 27th January
has been replaced by a prime networking time in the
exhibition area, which is where the tea and coffee breaks
will be served as well as the majority of buffet lunch seating.
l On Wednesday 28th the speaker programme is focused
on legislation, anthelmintic resistance, worm egg counts
and parasitology.
l For SQPs a maximum of 51 CPD points are available
from attending all sessions certified by electronic badge
tagging system.
(At the time of going to print)
This sold out exhibition of over 50 businesses has now become a major feature and provides
vital contacts and latest information for managers, buyers, marketing, SQPs and retail staff.
