”The Family Life Cycle: Phases and Patterns of Family Life" March 14, 2015 10:30 -17:00
Saturday
How do transitions such as adolescence and mid life affect the individual and the family? Astrologically
how might generic transits like the Nodal return, Uranus opposition or Chiron Return reveal
transitions in the life cycle of an individual and their family? We will explore the astrological patterns
and themes that are evident at times of crisis and transition in the family, which in turn affects the
destiny of the individual. As part of this exploration we will examine the profoundstages of family life
such as leaving home to see how the theme of unfinished business with the family reemerges at other
life transitions and how the horoscope can help illuminate this pattern.
“MONEY CHANGES EVERYTHING: economics of the self “March 15, 2015 10:30 -17:00
Sunady
Money changes everything, or does it? In this lecture we will explore money as a psychic reality which
like all psychic realities is complex, complicated and problematic. As an archetypal image it is associated
with the divine and we will explore this mythic connection. From this viewpoint, money is part of the
soul and an aspect of fate; therefore astrological doctrines over time have considered this. Our focus
during this lecture will be to reflect on money in the natal chart and our relationship and attitudes
towards it. Perhaps by understanding the underlying images in our self we might better participate
with money in the outer world.
