Welcome to the 3rd EFAS Cadaver Course hosted once again in the Faculty of Medicine,
University of Barcelona, Spain. We are extremely grateful for the support of Prof. Maria
Monzó, Department of Anatomy for permitting EFAS to host this course in the University.

Travel By Air: Barcelona El Prat Airport (IATA: BCN ICAO: LEBL) is situated 14kms from
the City. The course venue is 20 minute by taxi from the airport and the taxi fare c€25.
By train/metro to journey is 40 minutes. Take the train from the Airport to Sants Estació
station. From the station, take the metro line number 3 (green line) to Zona Universitaria
and the hotel is a short walk from the metro stop. The venue is very accessible for access
to the motorways to Madrid, France and the Mediterranean coastline.

Travel to U232 hotel:
Metro: Hospital Clínic (Blue Line, L5)
Via Taxi: A taxi from the airport should take about 25 minutes and cost around €25.00 €30.00 depending on traffic and luggage.
Via Train: The RENFE train leaves the airport every half an hour and will take you to
Estació Sants in 25 minutes. You can either use the T10 transport ticket from the airport
(T10 costs €9.80 for 10 separate journeys on Barcelona public transport) or you can buy
a single fare ticket for €3.60. From Estació Sants take the metro to Hospital Clínic on the
Blue Line, from the metro station the hotel is a 2 minute walk.
Via Bus: Take the ‘Aerobus’ to Plaza Catalunya from directly outside the airport. The Aerobus generally runs every 10 - 15 minutes and the journey time is 30 minutes. From Plaza
Catalunya you can take the Green Line on the metro to Estació Sants and change onto the
Blue Line to Hospital Clínic, the hotel is a 2 minute walk from the metro station.
