She is also the author of This Far By Faith. She has been described by author and radio host Mitch Album as “not your typical pastor. She is funnier. And more blunt. And, Lord, does she get things done.” Workshop Information: There will be time to attend two workshops on Friday afternoon. On the front of this sheet, please indicate which two workshops you wish to attend. 1. Church Women United Training: Rev. Robin Woodberry, our guest speaker from National, will be sharing valuable information that will help us understand the workings of Church Women United on all levels. 2. An Afternoon with Shanti Solomon: Local storyteller Jan Longton, will portray Shanti Solomon and share not only how Friendship of the Least Coin came about, but also many of the other interesting aspects of Shanti’s amazing life. 3. “How I Can Be an Instrument to Prevent Bullying”: The presenter will be from the State of Michigan’s Women’s Commission 4. “How I Can Be an Instrument to Prevent Human Trafficking”: The speaker will also be from the State of Michigan’s Women’s Commission Silent Auction: This auction will feature single items donated by you, our members.
