Building Committee Report
The architects report they are compiling all data gathered from our congregation and staff. They
are preparing two new boards for our approval--- one will provide schematics of space needs while
the second board depicts a front view of completed construction plus a three dimensional drawing
of the new chancel/choir area of the sanctuary. If for some reason you have not had an opportunity to express your view or opinion, you at once need to talk to a member of the building committee which consists of Ray Dunahoo, Russ Dunlap, Ray Manus, Tom Mottern, Ray Myers, Bob
Rose, Becky Sanders, Spencer Scarbrough, Dottie Smith, Becky Veal, Royeese Stowe, Lynn
Johnston, Scott Pirnie, and Warren Calvert.

The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom
come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day
our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those
who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver
us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power and the glory
forever. Amen

Invitation to Christian Discipleship
Gospel Lesson
14
Now after John was arrested, Jesus came to Galilee, proclaiming the good
news of God, 15and saying, ‘The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God has
come near; repent, and believe in the good news.’
16
As Jesus passed along the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and his brother
Andrew casting a net into the lake—for they were fishermen. 17And Jesus
said to them, ‘Follow me and I will make you fish for people.’ 18And immediately they left their nets and followed him. 19As he went a little farther, he
saw James son of Zebedee and his brother John, who were in their boat
mending the nets. 20Immediately he called them; and they left their father
Zebedee in the boat with the hired men, and followed him.
