Plans for Heritage Days on the Old National Road and the Heritage Days Draft
Horse, Mule & Haflinger Show are progressing nicely. Since the Horse Show will be at the
Fairgrounds we have decided to move all activities except the Friday, Saturday & Sunday evening
concerts and the Sunday morning Community Church Service to the Fairgrounds, including the
Equine Parade which will on the racetrack. Most of the food vendors will be at the Fairgrounds on
Saturday & Sunday but there will be 2 or 3 at the Park on Friday night for the Night of Bluegrass.
Change of Date for the Martinsville Ag Fair. The date for the Fair has been changed from
July 5-11, to June 14-20. For all of you out-of-towners who have been trying to decide which event to
come to, the decision has been made for you--you can come to both! Heritage Days will begin Friday
night, June 12 continuing through June 14. Our final event will be Aaron Wilburn’s Sunday evening
(7:00) performance at the Amphitheater. Aaron will keep us entertained with his hilarious comedy.
Heritage Days & the Fair will share this event as our final concert and the Fair’s opening gospel event.
The fair will then continue through the week of the14th ending on Sat. night, June 20. How great!!
