 Media Guidelines For JW Player Partners and Customers Thank you for your interest in engaging media regarding your partnership with JW Player. At JW Player, we believe that our customers and partners are part of our story, and encourage your interest in sharing your involvement with our company and solutions in the media. It is important to us at JW Player that all information disseminated is accurate, aligned with each of the companies’ values and branding, and is done in the spirit of mutual business benefit. To that extent, we have outlined several guidelines for you to refer to before conducting any media efforts. Press Releases • Should you or any agency you retain wish to develop and distribute a press release about your partnership with JW Player, please do so only after having obtained written/verbal consent from Cindy Cao ([email protected]) or Michael Collins ([email protected]). o JW Player reserves the right to decline to participate in press releases. • After drafting your press release mentioning JW Player, its business, founders, or solutions, submit it to Cindy and Michael for review and written consent. o JW Player reserves the right to edit, alter, or omit its representation in the press release if it feels that doing so would more accurately represent its brand or solutions. o Please refrain from issuing an official press release before receiving written consent from JW Player. • Any announcement that jointly features JW Player must include our boilerplate: o JW Player is the New York-­‐based startup that pioneered video on the web and is now innovating for the future. Started in 2008 as the world’s first open source video player, today the company’s customers span the globe across 193 countries and range from Fortune 500 companies to individual bloggers. The company’s flagship product, JW Player, is live on more than 2 million sites with 7 billion video streams to 750 million monthly unique viewers across all devices — phones, tablets, and desktops. Nearly five percent of all video streams worldwide are delivered through JW Player. In addition to the player, the company’s services include video hosting and streaming, advertising, and analytics. This can be due to internal corporate or market activity at any given time. Media Relations • JW Player will consider engaging with media on a case-­‐by-­‐case basis. Please notify Cindy and Michael at least 48 hours in advance of any media deadline. •

o Discussing technology partnerships o Discussing how JW Player’s solutions have helped drive a partner company’s success JW Player and its external PR agency reserves the right to be present during any executives’ media engagements. In the event that JW Player does engage with the media on behalf or alongside a partner or customer, we reserve the right to speak according to our messages and corporate values, in a way that is respectful to all of our customers around the globe. Social Media • JW Player’s Twitter handle for corporate news is @jwplayer. •
If your company plans to create any social media content around your partnership with JW Player, please send the draft content of any social media posts to Cindy and Michael at least 24 hours before you plan to publish it. Images • Should you like to use the JW Player logo, images of its founders, or other images associated with the brand, please submit your request in writing to Amy and Chris and we will provide you with the appropriate assets.
