Experience
Senior Graphic Designer | JCCSF | San Francisco, CA | 2008 – Present
Member of a 13-person marketing team working with the organization’s twenty-plus brands and sub-brands to target a diverse
range of audiences. The department is a fast-paced environment with a heavy, quickly-shifting workload, producing a wide
range of creative materials to be implemented in a variety of media. While I have held this position, our department’s efforts
have contributed significantly to record-high membership and event ticket sales for the center. This is an agile environment that
demands a lot of personal initiative to be successful. Building, developing and maintaining the identity of the JCCSF is an integral
part of my day-to-day role, marketing products through thematically unified designs where concept, copy, typography, and images
work in harmony to communicate a story and create a positive experience for the user.
Achievements in this position include:
• Promoted after two years to senior design position on marketing team.
• Received organizational award for unique series of educational posters and online interactive storytelling.
• Collaborated with in-house web department to design and build new user interface to better showcase the organization’s wide
variety of services and programs.
• Created brochure, print and web advertisements, postcards, posters, flyers and displays promoting JCCSF membership,
lectures and performances.
• Created identities and publicity materials for teen and young adult programs, including innovative, age-appropriate illustrations
for promotional brochures and postcards.
• Produced all promotional materials for annual development campaign that raised $4.4 million, including display banners, online
banners, posters and advertising.
• Created several online campaigns using Google AdWords™
• Oversaw freelance graphic designers, photographers and illustrators on a variety of projects as art director.
• Trained staff on appropriate use of organizational brand and corresponding templates.
Freelance Designer | San Francisco, CA | 2004 – 2008
Successfully executed design projects for numerous individuals and organizations – from drawing up initial creative briefs,
