AUDIT AND RISK COMMITTEE FORUM
The Audit and Risk Committee Forum is specially designed for Audit and Risk Committee members to address
strategic issues that are shaping the operating environment of organisations today and to gain insights to
effectively manage the associated risks of business.
The program will be structured with a mix of high level keynote sessions (which are part of SOPAC® 2015)
and closed door break-out sessions for Directors to get down to the practicalities of addressing the key issues
on the role of Audit and Risk Committees.
To promote discussion and knowledge sharing on practical approaches that internal audit and risk functions
and Audit and Risk Committee members can employ to effectively manage risk, numbers to the forum will
be strictly limited.

This session will explore the real exposure that organisations face now and will face in the future in relation to cyber risk.

• What are the common and not so common types of threats and attacks?
• Where are organisations letting their guards down?
• Why should organisations be putting cyber as the focal point of their risk register?

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be notified in writing to IIA-Australia. Cancellations received 30 days prior to the forum will receive a full refund. Cancellations received from 30 days to 15 days
prior to the forum will receive a refund less AUD $200.00 administration fee, cancellations received within 14 days of the forum will forfeit the registration fee paid. A substitute
delegate will be accepted at no extra charge, subject to membership status, if advised in writing. Transfer of monies to any other IIA-Australia product or service is not permitted.
