A Regional Pro Bono day was initiated by the Uganda Law
Society to increase access to justice through the provision of
free legal services by Advocates to the poor, indigent and
marginalized in Uganda. Advocates will in line with The
Advocates (Pro Bono Services to indigent Persons)
Regulations SI No. 39 of 2009 give back to society through
the provision of legal aid services to walk in clients in all the
regions where the Uganda Law Society Legal Aid Offices are
situate i.e. Kampala, Jinja, Soroti, Arua, Gulu, Masindi,
Kabarole, Kabale and Mbarara.

This practical one week workshops will educate lawyers on
principles and techniques of negotiation, language and
drafting of contracts, legal issues in international contracts as
well as contract management and dispute resolution.
