ago and was deemed good enough to contest the Champion Bumper at the Cheltenham Festival. The
son of Authorized was entitled to win comfortably on his hurdling debut at Huntingdon in November but
it was the manner of that dominant performance that impressed and he's taken to go in again. The
Grey Taylor ran well under a winner's penalty at Wetherby over Christmas and is closely matched with
Some Plan on official ratings.

ATR VERDICT: The winner of this race is unlikely to go on to Queen Mother Champion Chase glory
in March, but SIR VALENTINO boasts as good claims as any judged on a taking Ludlow effort last
time. The son of Early March readily exploited a 6lb lower mark that day and Tom George's charge is
versatile in regards to conditions underfoot. Ifandbutwhynot brings some good novice chase form to the
table and cannot be overlooked, while Buthelezi is capable on a going day.
Top Tip: SIR VALENTINO

justifiably so given Nicky Henderson's French recruit beat two smart juveniles there in December. The
striking grey had Karezak (second) and Stars Over The Sea (third) behind when getting off the mark
for Henderson and he ran a cracker to get within a length of Golden Doyen at Prestbury Park on his
UK introduction. He should have too much class for Starchitect and Full Day.

ATR VERDICT: YORKIST boasts form figures of 2121 in four starts over fences thus far and he
confirmed a brave effort at Newcastle two starts back when beating Calculated Risk at Catterick. Brian
Ellison's charge is rated Seventh Sky's 1lb superior and is expected to come out on top off level
weights. Charlie Mann's charge did win well at Huntingdon last time out, though, so cannot be
overlooked, while Doyly Carte rates best of the rest.
Top Tip: YORKIST
Watch out for: SEVENTH SKY
ATR VERDICT: SEA LORD has been set some stiff tasks in the wake of the six-timer he completed
last season, running well for a long way in the Fighting Fifth on his reappearance most recently. He
possesses plenty of class and can regain the winning thread back in handicap company with the
forecast good ground in his favour. A Boy Named Suzi didn't appear to get home over 2m4f last time
but is lightly-raced over timber and merits serious consideration back in trip. Sweet Deal and Streets Of
Newyork are also noted, while Cinders And Ashes and Nathans Pride can play a part if ready to roll on
their respective comebacks.

last month but he proved his stamina for this trip in no uncertain terms and looks worth keeping on side
in staying contests. The booking of Tony McCoy catches the eye, but Seldom Inn faces a huge step up
in distance here and will be galloping into unknown territory after two miles. He can't be backed with
any confidence, so the greatest threat may come from Shanroe Santos who opened his account over
timber in good style at Ludlow. Uisge Beatha is the pick of the remainder and completes the shortlist.

ATR VERDICT: CURRENT EVENT has been prolific between the flags since he was last seen
under Rules finishing sixth in the Grand Sefton at Aintree and he can maintain his winning streak here.
Cottage Oak isn't getting any younger but still retains plenty of ability and poses the greatest threat to
the selection. Foundry Square can't be ruled out, while Beggar's Velvet enters calculations too.

ATR VERDICT: DAWALAN looked dead and buried between the last two at Aintree over 2m4f last
time before rallying strongly to win going away at the finish. The step up to this trip is expected to suit
and he could be up to defying his 9lb rise. Robbie arrives seeking the hat-trick after a brace of wins
over fences at Doncaster and gets to race off the same mark back over the smaller obstacles. He is
feared most, though it would be no surprise to see Fly Vinnie and Run Ructions Run in the mix at the
line.
Top Tip: DAWALAN
