The organization is responsible for marketing & sales of leisure, travel trade, and conference and convention business. Ottawa Tourism is also the Regional Tourism Organization for Ontario. Primary Responsibilities: As a member of a team, survey associations would approach visitors to Ottawa to ask them a variety of prepared questions regarding their visit. The information was gathered and a final research document submitted. This research project assists Ottawa Tourism with Marketing / Sales strategies. SENS HOUSE BAR & GRILL 2014 Position: Marketing Manager PT – Bartender The Sen’s House is a bar & grill in Ottawa’s Byward Market. This sports bar targets sports oriented individuals and groups to come and enjoy major sporting events on large screen monitors. This property is collaboration between the Ottawa Senators and York Street Corporation. Primary Responsibilities: As a member of the management team, the Marketing Manager is responsible for special event development & marketing, promotions & social media. Specifically the Marketing Manager identifies weak periods and develops events to drive business. I also work as a bartender part-time. THE GREEN ROOM - York Street Corporation 2013 - Present Position: Social Media Specialist & Bartender Located in downtown Ottawa’s Byward Market the Green Room is another property owned by the York Street Corporation. . Since 2011 I have spent my time with York Street Corporation in progressively more responsible positions.
