Nestled in a rural and suburban community along the Baltimore-Washington corridor, Marriotts Ridge draws students from varied neighborhoods who bring diverse interests to the school. To meet the needs and interests of all students, MRHS offers special programs that include but are not limited to Advanced Placement programs, Independent Research and Mentor programs, Project Lead the Way, a Teachers’ Academy and Culinary Arts Pro-Start Certificate, Excellent Fine Arts, and Special Education programs. The exceptional staff at Marriotts Ridge also teach a wide variety of core courses and electives in English, mathematics, physical education, science, social studies, technology education and world languages. MRHS strives to provide opportunities for students to develop the academic and intellectual skills necessary for success beyond high school. With a strong college preparatory program, the majority of students enroll in college and/or technical programs after graduation.
