Programme French – NTU Renewable Energy Workshop 4 - 6 February 2015, Singapore Context • Over the last years we have observed a substantial growth of scientific collaboration between NTU and French partners in fields associated with Renewable Energy Research and Innovation. • Important collaborations have developed between NTU/ERI@N and French industrials in the framework of the two flagships programs REIDS and ECOCAMPUS. • Active joint PhD programs between NTU/ERIAN and CEA and Grenoble INP in the domain of materials for energy. Objective • Have a brain storming workshop to identify possible Energy R&D challenges that would greatly benefit from complementary competences. Define some relative concrete projects. Define the best framework for efficient collaboration. Participants • CNRS is leading the French delegation which comprises scientists from CNRS, CEA, University Pierre et Marie Curie, Grenoble INP, Centrale-Supelec, and a few other French universities • About 20 scientists, all renown experts, from France and as much from NTU, Singapore • French industrial partners (GDF-Suez, Bouygues, ALSTOM, Peugeot PSA,…) Organizers Dr. Alain Dollet CNRS Scientific Deputy Director in charge of Energy, [email protected] Prof. Claude Guet, ERI@N, Prog.
