Our Jump Rope for Heart Event
will be held this Friday, February 6th.
All students should wear or bring
sneakers. Please send any donations
for the American Heart Association to
school by Friday. Our goal is to collect $1200.

Attention Parents of 6th Grade Students:
You are invited to attend a 6th Grade Parents Committee Meeting
to be held on Thursday, February 5th.
Time: 6 to 7 PM
Place: KTES Library
It is hard to believe but it is already time to turn our thoughts to graduation and
the 6th grade class celebration. We will hold our first committee meeting on
2/5 from 6 to 7 pm in the KTES Library. All parents interested in volunteering
to assist with the planning and execution of the annual 6th Grade Graduation
Celebration should attend. If you are unable to make the meeting but would

Breakfast - Lunch - Milk Order Form 2014-15
The breakfast price is $1.50. The lunch price this year is: $2.50 each, 5 for $12.50, 10 for
$25.00 or 20 for $50.00, etc. Milk Only purchases may be made by cash or by purchasing
multiple milks and having it added to the student’s account. The Milk Only cost is .45
cents each, 5 for $2.25, etc. Please make checks payable to Knowlton Twp. Elementary
School (KTES). Checks are preferred, but we will accept cash payments. No post dated
checks please. If you have any questions regarding the above, please call the school.

The Knowlton Township Board of Education Meeting for February is scheduled for
Monday, February 23, 2015 at 7 PM.
If you didn’t send in your BOXTOPS it is not too late!
Send them in by this Friday, February 6th.

ATTENTION ALL PARENTS:
IMPORTANT CHANGE TO 2014-2015 SCHOOL CALENDAR
School WILL NOW BE in session on Friday, February 13th due to the fact that we have
already utilized 3 of the 4 snow days we had built into the 2014-15 school calendar.
School will remain closed on Monday February 16th.
Should we use more than the four built in snow days, we would then utilize spring break days
in the following order: Friday, April 10; Thursday, April 9;
Wednesday, April 8; and if necessary Tuesday, April 7.
We will continue to keep you informed of any further calendar changes.

Congratulations CLASS of 2015!
A bright orange information form went home to ALL SIXTH GRADE STUDENTS.
The completed form, along with a photo should be returned to the school no later
than Friday, February 6th. This is the information that is used for the yearbook.

Attention 6th grade students and their parents:

went home with students on Thursday, 1/29.
Orders were due back by Monday, February 2nd.

Update on the Kindergarten
100th Day Community
Service Project
We are extending our collection date to Tuesday,
February 10th as a result of the snow days. We
have now 6 Knowlton graduates who we will be
making care packages for. They are Kevin Conlon,
Cecilia Dennis, Matthew Schmidt, Andrew Schmidt,
Steven Bowman, and Sara Terrell. If you have
neighbor who is in the military and a Knowlton
graduate, please have their family contact us.

Attention Parents of Future Kindergarten Students:
Knowlton Twp. Elementary School is planning for the 2015-2016 School year. At this time we
would like to identify as many children as possible who will be eligible for Kindergarten in
September 2015. To be eligible for kindergarten, a child must be 5 years old by October 1, 2015.
If you have not already done so, and you have a child who will be eligible for next year’s
kindergarten class, kindly call the school at (908) 475-5118, ext. 200 as soon as possible.
Dates for screening of next year’s kindergarten students will be released at a later date.
Parents will receive details in the mail. Please pass this information along to anyone in Knowlton
Twp. who may have a child eligible for kindergarten in September 2015. Thank you!
Knowlton Twp. Elementary Preschool Program for Fall 2015
We are now accepting registrations for our Preschool Program
for Fall 2015. Children must be 4 years old by October 1, 2015
and must be toilet trained. The program runs Monday through Friday
from 9 am to 11:30 am when school is in session.
Tuition is $2000 for the school year and can be paid out
over 10 months at $200 per month. Transportation is not provided for this
program. If interested, please contact the school office at:
