We look forward to our very own Silver Bells Chorus, who rehearses all year to put on a fantastic show. Various holiday songs filled the night with a special solo by Jim Waters and the whole Bellingham family joining in on others. Special readings of “Twas the Night Before Christmas” and “Virginia, There is a Santa Claus” were recited. Special holiday treats and eggnog were enjoyed by all as well as a visit from Santa and our poinsettia gift-giving. Hope everyone’s new year was just as special. Bellingham looks forward to celebrating all of 2015 with you. IT’S OUR PLEASURE TO SERVE YOU ... word from your executive director Well, it seems that winter has cast its spell upon us. As old man winter blows through West Chester, please follow some simple advice. Protect your skin with heavier, more protective creams and lotions. In the winter the relative humidity inside drops to below 60 percent, causing skin to lose moisture, become dry and itchy. To avoid slips and falls, wear boots that are non-skid. If you use a cane, replace the rubber tip before it is worn smooth or it will become slippery, especially when it gets wet. When outdoors, remember to dress warmly. Wear loose-fitting, layered, lightweight clothing. Mittens are warmer than gloves, because fingers generate warmth when they touch each other. Always wear a hat to protect against heat loss, since about 30 to 50 percent of body heat loss is through the head. — Joe Conlon, Executive Director MANAGEMENT TEAM Joe Conlon, Executive Director Jane Croghan, Business Office Manager Alex Berol, Director of Sales & Marketing Dale Rice, Dining Services Director Brian Strack, Dining Room Manager Devon Paul, Director of Plant Operations Lisa Stoy, Assisted Living Director Barbara Kenna, Legacy Court Director Cassandra Lor, Nursing Home Administrator Caryn Griffith, Human Resource Director Lori Barajas, Move in Coordinator Mike Muhollan, Executive Chef Happy Retirement Ray!
