All consumer firework mishaps can be linked to not using common sense. Consumer firework safety starts with reading the label. Understanding what your device will do. Understanding the space needed for your device to work safely. Does your firework emit sparks vertically or from angled ports, does it spin while emitting sparks, where will the sparks be landing, does it shoot flaming balls vertically or a wide fan pattern? You need to know your surroundings. My hope is while you read this you are thinking “well, that’s just common sense”.
