TEACHING
Academic
Lecturer Ithaca College Theatre Department - Teach Acting 1 and 2 to BA Drama majors and
minors, BFA Design and Tech, and Theatre Arts Management majors, as well as non
majors since 1985. Teach Acting 1 at the Ithaca College Summer High School
Program for college credit, 2002, 2003 and 2004.
Northeast Senior Seminar, Ithaca College, 1986, 1988.
Lecturer Tompkins County Community College taught 2-credit mime class 1977-1981.
Master classes at many colleges and universities including - Antioch, Trinity, Bard,
Hampshire, Hamilton, Potsdam, New Paltz, U. of Ca. at Santa Cruz, NYU and more.

Including teaching Aesthetic Education to elementary and secondary teachers in the

Adapted Aesop Fables new solo show for touring in the Southern Tier school
systems, 2004.
Date At Eight: Wrote and directed an interactive play about acquaintance rape for
production at Ithaca College and Cornell University. Toured to Binghamton U. 2002,
Dartmouth 2000 and Well’s College1989 and 1998. (This play was produced yearly
at Ithaca College between 1989 to 2001. From 1996 to 2000 Cornell produced it

yearly for use at orientation and parents weekend.)
Begin With a Story: A performance with workshops designed for year long
residency at Watkins Glen El. for kindergartners, 2000.
Fables: A solo performance for children for touring during the 1997-98 school year.
Giants: The Past Into the Present: A solo performance for middle school in which I
created new stories with mythological characters, such as Athena, Freya and Sun
Woman, 1993.
Athletes and Alcohol: Wrote and directed a play about alcohol awareness for
Ithaca College freshmen athletes, 1992.
The Sky Is Falling: Henny Penny: Full length children’s play for a Mischief Mime Theatre
Co tour. It includes puppets and has an ecological twist, 1990 – 91.
Socially Transmitted Dread: Wrote and directed for production at Ithaca College,
Wells College and TC3 a play about socially transmitted diseases, 1990.
