Music on the Green is a new activity
for ukulele players, singers, and other musicians
interested in gathering twice a month to play music
together.
Mark your calendars for 1-3 p.m. on Sunday
Feb.8th, Sunday Feb. 22nd, and Saturday March 7th
(Future dates to be announced).
When the weather is nice, we will gather on the
small “Fairway” stage outside of the recreation hall.
Otherwise we will meet indoors on the Butt Hutt
deck. Bring a music stand if you have one, and grab
a chair from the rec. hall to bring to the stage. Music
selections will be sent via email to those wishing to
participate.
Contact Carolyn at [email protected] if
you’d like to be on the mailing list. Though not a
“concert”, audience participation is welcomed.

Four pirate vessels were sighted last Saturday
on Como Lake. There was no plunder or rapine, but the
pirates tossed out beads to the assembled land-lubbers
onshore. A treasure hunt then ensued, with Como Bucks
going to the winners. After a hearty meal of grub
provided by Chef Gary, the pirates retired to the Butt
Hutt for grog.

Nudism Documentary: “Casting Call”
Jamie Blackband, a student at the FSU College of
Motion Picture Arts, is working on a documentary
project on nudism. In his own words:
“I want to explore nudism/naturism not only as a
lifestyle choice, but also as a reaction to the popular
misconceptions of what our body is. I would like to
interview individuals who feel comfortable in their
natural bodies, especially any that might have
experienced body shame in the past, and find what
social nudity has done for their image of themselves”
Anyone interested in participating, please stop by the
recreation hall at 3:30 p.m. on Friday Feb. 6 to meet
Jamie. This is just a preliminary meeting–filming
would take place sometime in March.
Please phone or email me if you are interested.
