The sacraments are not denied to anyone, but certain
conditions must be met: 1. Attend a preparation class;
2. Be a Baptized Catholic; 3. Be living according to the
rules of the Catholic Church. Parents must be active
members of the parish with regular participation for at
least 6 months. If the sponsors belong to another parish
or community, they must submit letters of recommendation signed by their pastor stating that they are active
members in good standing of their parish.
Registration for Baptism: Registration and guidance is available by appointment with one of the parish
priests in the Church office between 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
two months in advance of administering the sacrament of
Baptism. A copy of the birth certificate is required at the
time of registration. The preparation class for parents and
godparents is the first Sunday of each month at 12:30 pm.
Baptisms are held the last Sunday of the month at 2:30 pm.
Important: Registration must be completed in the
church office with one of the priests.
Arrangements must be made at least six months in
advance. The Catholic party must be a registered,
active member of the Parish, using envelopes. Call for
appointment.
Please call the office if anyone is sick at home, in the
hospital, nursing home or assisted living, and wishes to
be visited.
Persons entering the hospital or hospice are encouraged
to be anointed ahead of time. To make an appointment,
call the office or see Father after daily Mass.

AND DEVELOPMENT DRIVE BEGINS
As we begin the year 2015, we have so much to
reflect upon and to be grateful for. We are called
upon by God to be good stewards of the gifts He has
given us by placing those gifts at His service. In the
coming days, many of you will receive a letter from
Archbishop Thomas G. Wenski regarding the 2015
Archbishop’s
Charity and Development Drive
(ABCD). Please read it and prayerfully consider
supporting the Archdiocese of Miami and its many
life-changing ministries.
For more than fifty years, the Archdiocese of Miami
has been building and sustaining the Catholic community in South Florida. That has been made possible because of people like you. Since its inception,
the Archbishop’s Charities and Development Drive
(ABCD) has always been a conduit to carrying out
God’s Will. The good works that ABCD makes possible are a testimony to our faith, a faith that is very
much alive and is a part of each and every one of us.
Let us join together to be One in Faith, One in Hope,
One in Charity.

RENOVATION OF THE CHURCH

approved the renovation of the
church as you can see in the designs
in the church sanctuary. The Project
includes the construction of new bathrooms, a
new religious store and a new room for children.
The expenditure for construction is of
$500,000.00. The Archbishop, under the rules of
the Archdiocese, asks us to have enough
money before you start. We still need
$200,000.00. We count on your ideas for
fundraising and your generosity.

We are beginning a new year and due to the frequent
movement of people from one place to another, and
form one parish to another, we want to give
everyone the opportunity to register. Please fill out
the form when entering the church, and when you
leave, give it to the ushers.
STUDENT PARTICIPATION AT MASS
Beginning Sunday, January 25th, at 11:15 AM Mass,
the CCD students will actively participate in the Mass.
The older students will do the readings while the
younger students will distribute the bulletins, help with
collections and greet parishioners as they enter the church.
The young people will be supervised by a group of
parents who have volunteered to encourage a more active
participation in the Sacred Liturgy.

E CARIDADE DO ARCEBISPO
Com o inicio do ano 2015 podemos refletir sobre
todas as dádivas que recebemos este ano e pelas
quais devemos estar agradecidos. Deus pede que
sejamos bons servidores das dádivas que recebemos
Dele fazendo com que essas dádivas possam ser
multiplicadas. Nos próximos dias, muitos de vocês
vão receber uma carta do Arcebispo Thomas G.
Wenski sobre o Projeto de Desenvolvimento e
Caridade para o ano de 2015. Por favor leia essa
carta com atenção considerando em oração o apoio
que poderá oferecer à Arquidiocese de Miami e aos
muitos programas e ministérios que têm tido um
impacto positivo nas vidas de tantas pessoas desta
comunidade.
Devido ao seu apoio, a Arquidiocese de Miami tem
ajudado a comunidade do Sul da Florida por mais de
cinquenta anos. Desde o primeiro dia que foi criado,
o Projeto de Desenvolvimento e Caridade do Arcebispo, tem sido um veículo útil para fazer a vontade
do Senhor uma realidade. Os resultados que deste
Projeto são um testemunho à nossa fé, uma fé forte e
que faz parte de cada um de nós.
Queremos estar Unidos na Fé, Unidos na Esperança,
Unidos na Caridade.
Obrigado pelo seu apoio ao Projeto de Desenvolvimento e Caridade do Arcebispo.
Jesus é por excelência o evangelizador e o Evangelho
em pessoa. Sua solicitude convida a todos nós para
cuidar do mais frágil, especialmente os solitários, os
deprimidos, os pobres, aqueles que se afastaram da
igreja. A missão da Igreja universal é abrir os braços
para acolher todas as pessoas, sem distinção ou
limites, a fim de proclamar que Deus é amor. Este é o
objetivo da comunidade de São Vicente para o ano de
2015 para chegar a todas as pessoas: velho, solitário,
migrantes, refugiados, mulheres e crianças
maltratadas, as vítimas da violência e das drogas.
Afinal, este é o mandamento que Jesus nos deixou
quando ele se identificou com os pobres e com fome
e quem sofre. São Vicente quer ser uma mãe com um
coração aberto para o mundo inteiro, sem qualquer
fronteira.

COMPROMISSO COM A SUA PARÓQUIA
A participação fiel na Celebração Eucarística e dos
sacramentos é essencial ter um sentimento de pertença
à sua paróquia. Isto deve ser nos momentos bons e
maus. Sua presença é de extrema importância.
Quando você falta é como se a igreja fica vazia. Então
contamos com você.
REFORMA DA IGREJA
O arcebispo Thomas Wenski aprovou a reforma da
igreja, como você pode ver nos desenhos postos no
santuário da igreja. O projeto inclui a construção de
novos banheiros, uma nova loja de artigos religiosos e
uma nova sala para as crianças. As despesas para a
construção é de R $500.000,00. O arcebispo, segundo
as regras da Arquidiocese, nos pede para ter dinheiro
suficiente antes de começar. Nos faltam ainda
$200.000,00. Contamos com suas idéias para
angariação de fundos e sua generosidade.

Estamos llegando a los últimos meses de la
apelación ABCD para el año 2014 (febrero 2015). San Vicente no ha llegado a la meta indicada por la Arquidiócesis.
Hemos notado que muchos feligreses no han completado
sus donaciones de acuerdo a sus promesas. Le pedimos que
complete lo antes posible sus donaciones para que podamos
alcanzar nuestra meta.
Comienza la Campaña de Caridade
y Desarrollo del Arzobispo del 2015
Al comenzar el año 2015, tenemos mucho sobre lo cual
reflexionar y por lo cual estar agradecidos.
Hemos sido llamados por Dios a ser buenos administradores de los dones que Él nos ha dado, empleando esos dones
a Su servicio. En los próximos días, muchos de ustedes
recibirán una carta del Arzobispo Thomas G. Wenski con
respecto a la Campaña de Caridades y Desarrollo del
Arzobispo (ABCD) del 2015. Por favor, léanla y, en
oración, consideren el dar su apoyo a la Arquidiócesis de
Miami y a los ministerios que cambian tantas vidas.
Durante más de cincuenta años, la Arquidiócesis de Miami
ha estado edificando y sosteniendo a la comunidad católica
en el Sur de La Florida. Esto ha sido posible gracias a

PREPARACIÓN PARA ADULTOS
A LOS SACRAMENTOS
Para los adultos (mayor de 16 años) que no han
tenido la oportunidad de recibir los sacramentos
del Bautismo, Confesión, Eucaristía y Matrimonio
iniciaremos un curso de preparación. Si quieres

TALLERES DE ORACIÓN Y VIDA
Es un taller que nos enseña a rezar con la ayuda de
la Palabra de Dios, que comienza el sábado, 7 de
febrero, 7 pm en la sala 7. Las personas

COMPROMISO CON TU PARROQUIA
La participación fiel en la celebración eucarística y
en los sacramentos es fundamental para tener un
sentido de pertenencia a tu parroquia. Esto debe
darse en los momentos buenos y también en los
malos. Tu presencia es de extrema importancia.
Cuando faltas tú es como si la iglesia se quedara
vacía. Entonces contamos contigo.
REFORMA DE LA IGLESIA
El Arzobispo Thomas Wenski aprobó la reforma
de la iglesia como Uds. pueden apreciar en los
diseños puestos en el santuario de la iglesia. El
proyecto incluye la construcción de nuevos baños,
una nueva tienda religiosa y un nuevo cuarto para
niños. Los gastos previstos para la construcción
son de $500,000.00. El Arzobispo, según las
normas de la Arquidiócesis nos pide de tener el
dinero suficiente antes de empezar. Nos faltan
todavía $200,000.00. Contamos con sus ideas para
recaudar fondos y su generosidad.
REGISTRACIÓN
Estamos iniciando un año nuevo y debido al
frecuente movimiento de las personas de un lugar
a otro y de una parroquia a otra queremos dar a
todos la posibilidad de registrarse. Por favor llene
la planilla al entrar en la iglesia y al salir déjela
con los ujieres.

este es el mandamiento que Jesús nos dejó cuando
él se identificó con los pobres y hambrientos, y
toda persona que sufre. San Vicente quiere ser una
madre con un corazón abierto a todo el mundo sin
ningún tipo de frontera.
