Family Prayer
oving and faithful God, through the
years the people of our archdiocese
have appreciated the prayers and
love of Our Lady of Prompt Succor in times
of war, disaster, epidemic and illness. We
come to you, Father, with Mary our Mother,
and ask you to help us in the battle of today
against violence, murder and racism.
We implore you to give us your wisdom that
we may build a community founded on the
values of Jesus, which gives respect to the
life and dignity of all people.

Giving
Bless parents that they may form their children in faith. Bless and protect our youth
that they may be peacemakers of our time.
Give consolation to those who have lost
loved ones through violence.
Hear our prayer and give us the perseverance to be a voice for life and human dignity
in our community.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Our Lady of Prompt Succor, hasten to help
us.
Mother Henriette Delille, pray for us that we
may be a holy family.
It’s easy!

Our God is Here
1. Here in this Ɵme, here in this place,
here we are standing face to face.
Here in our hearts, here in our lives,
our God is here.
Here for the broken,
here for the strong,
here in this temple we belong.
Here in our hearts, here in our lives,
our God is here. And we cry:
my name you were saying;
All I treasured,
I have leŌ on sand there;
Close to you, I will find other seas.
Let us be one in the Lord.
2. Lord,
you knew what my boat carried:
neither money
nor weapons for fighƟng,
but nets for fishing, my daily labor.
2. You are my friends if you keep my
commands, no longer
servants but friends.
3. Lord,
have you need of my labor,
hands for service,
a heart made for loving,
my arms for liŌing

Lord, When You Came
1. Lord,
when you came to the seashore,
You weren’t seeking
the wise or the wealthy,
but only asking that I might follow.
Refrain
O Lord, in my eyes you were gazing,
kindly smiling,
3. See how my people
have nothing to eat.
Give them the bread that is you.
4. As God has loved me so
I have loved you.
Go and live on in my love.

Here in our hearts, here in our lives,
our God is here.
Here we become what we receive,
here in this EucharisƟc feast.
We are his body, living as one;
our God is here. And we cry:
1. I am the bread of life, broken for all.
Eat now and hunger no more.
This LiƩle Light of Mine

que encendió mi ilusión.
Entrada
2. Yo dejé casa y pueblo
por seguir tu aventura.
Codo a codo conƟgo
comencé a caminar.
Han pasado los años
y, aunque aprieta el cansancio,
paso a paso te sigo
sin mirar hacia atrás.
Vamos Cantando al Señor
Estribillo
Vamos cantando al Señor:
Él es nuestra alegría.
1. La luz de un nuevo día
venció a la oscuridad,
que brille en nuestras almas
la luz de la verdad.
2. La roca que nos salva
es Cristo nuestro Dios,
lleguemos dando gracias
a nuestro Redentor.
3. ¡Qué alegría yo siento
cuando digo tu nombre!
¡Qué sosiego me inunda
cuando oigo tu voz!
¡Qué emoción me estremece
3. Los cielos y la Ɵerra
aclaman al Señor:
“ha hecho maravillas,
inmenso es su amor”.
1. Te acercaste a mi puerta,
pronunciaste mi nombre.
Yo, temblando, te dije:
“aquí estoy, Señor”.
Tú me hablaste de un reino,
de un tesoro escondido,
de un mensaje fraterno

Grita, Profeta
1. Has recibido un desƟno
de otra palabra más fuerte,
es tu misión ser profeta:
Palabra de Dios viviente.
Tú irás llevando la luz
en una entrega perenne,
que tu voz es voz de Dios,
y la voz de Dios no duerme.

¡Qué Detalle, Señor!
Estribillo
Qué detalle, Señor,
has tenido conmigo
cuando me llamaste,
cuando me elegiste,
cuando me dijiste
que tú eras mi amigo,
qué detalle, Señor,
has tenido conmigo.
Canto Final
4. Unidos como hermanos
venimos a tu altar,
que llenes nuestras vidas
de amor y de amistad.

Estribillo

2. Sigue tu rumbo, profeta,
sobre la arena caliente.
Sigue sembrando en el mundo,
que el fruto se hará presente.
No temas si nuestra fe
ante tu voz se deƟene,
porque huimos del dolor
y la voz de Dios nos duele.
3. Sigue cantando, profeta,
cantos de vida o de muerte;
sigue anunciando a los hombres
que el Reino de Dios ya viene.
“Dios es rico en misericordia . . .” Efesios 2:4

10,000 Reasons (Bless The Lord)
Refrain
Bless the Lord, O my soul,
O my soul;
worship His holy name.
Sing like never before,
O my soul;
I'll worship Your holy name.
1. The sun comes up,
it's a new day dawning,
it's Ɵme to sing Your song again.
Whatever may pass,
and whatever lies before me,
let me be singing
when the evening comes.
2. You're rich in love
and You're slow to anger.
Your name is great and
Your heart is kind.
For all Your goodness,
I will keep on singing;
Ten thousand reasons
for my heart to find.
3. And on that day,
when my strength is failing,
the end draws near,
and my Ɵme has come.
SƟll, my soul will sing
Your praise unending
ten thousand years,
and then forevermore.

Communion
Here I Am, Lord
1. I, the Lord of sea and sky,
I have heard My people cry.
All who dwell in dark and sin.
My hand will save.
I who made the stars of night,
I will make their darkness bright.
Who will bear my light to them?
Whom shall I send?
Refrain
Here I am Lord. Is it I, Lord?
I have heard You calling in the night.
I will go, Lord, if You lead me,
I will hold Your people in my heart.
2. I, the Lord of snow and rain.
I have borne My people's pain.
I have wept for love of them.
They turn away.
I will break their hearts of stone,
Give them hearts for love alone.
I will speak My word to them.
Whom shall I send?
3. I, the Lord of wind and flame,
I will tend the poor and lame.
I will set a feast for them.
My hand will save.
Finest bread I will provide,
Ɵll their hearts be saƟsfied.
I will give my life to them.
Whom shall I send?

Blest Be The Lord
Refrain
Blest be the Lord, blest be the Lord,
“God is rich in mercy . . .” Ephesians 2:4
the God of mercy,
the God who saves.
I shall not fear, the dark of night
nor the arrow that flies by day.
1. He will release me
from the nets of all my foes.
He will protect me
from their wicked hands.
Beneath the shadow
of His wings
I will rejoice to find
a dwelling place secure.
2. I need not shrink before
the terrors of the night
nor stand alone before the light of day.
No harm shall come to me,
no arrow strike me down,
no evil seƩle in my soul.
3. Although a thousand strong
have fallen at my side,
I'll not be shaken
with the Lord at hand.
His faithful love is all
the armor that I need
to wage my baƩle with the foe.

Divine Mercy
Adult Faith Formation Course
We hear Psalms read or sung at every
Mass between the first and second
readings, but do we understand their
significance? The Psalms are at the
heart of the Bible. The Holy Spirit inspired them. Israel sang them. Christ
himself, prayed them, as did Our
Blessed Mother. These sacred hymns
become our heartfelt response to God’s
loving and wondrous deeds for us. Their
words captivate the imagination and
draw us into a deeply personal encounter with God.
Psalms: The School of Prayer is a videobased study presented by Jeff Cavins of
Ascension-Press.
Divine Mercy Parish will present Psalms:
The School of Prayer beginning Wednesday, February 25th at 7:00 p.m. and continue every Wednesday for 11
weeks. Registration will take place after
all Masses the weekend of January 31/
Feb. 1. The cost of each Study Set is
$32.00.

1. We have come

let Your glory fall like a holy rain.
Dead arise, hearts be awakened;
in this light earth will be shaken
Oh, Oh
Refrain
God who reigns over earth and sky,
flood this world with Your holy light.

Mass for the Sick
“Here I am, you called me.”
1st Sam. 3:5
God calls to us in the silence of our hearts. He wants
to speak to us, to direct our lives so that we grow
closer to Him. In the midst of the noise of the world it
is difficult to hear that still, small voice resounding in
the depths of our soul. However, if we truly desire to
hear Him, we will create some silent space. St. Paul
says, “Do you not know that your body is a temple of
the Holy Spirit within you…and that you are not your
own? For you have been purchased at a price” 1st Cor.
6:19-20. That price was the crucifixion of Christ. Since
He was willing to pay the cost for our salvation, would
He not want to communicate with us so as to guide
us to Him?
“Jesus, my Savior, my Redeemer. Create in me a
great desire for You. Open my heart to Your heart.
Speak to me in the stillness and draw me to You. Direct my steps so that I may get close to You.”

Misa para los Enfermos
¡Aquí estoy, porque me has llamado!
San Pablo dice, “¿O no

Act of Spiritual Communion
My Jesus, I believe that You are in
the Blessed Sacrament. I love You
above all
things, and I
long for You in
my soul. Since I
cannot now
receive You
sacramentally,
come at least
spiritually into
my heart. As
though You have already come, I
embrace You and unite myself entirely to You; never permit me to be
separated from You.
Acto de Comunión
Espiritual
alma. Como
ahora no puedo recibirte
sacramentalmente, al menos ven a mi corazón espiritualmente. Como ya has venido, Yo te
abrazo y me uno enteramente a Ti.
Nunca permitas que me separe de
ti.
