Background:
The IAAPA Leadership Conference provides fresh perspectives from performance-driven industry leaders and
experts. The IAAPA Leadership Conference 2015 will take place March 10-12, in Dubai and will provide industry
keynote presentations, highly interactive programming featuring facility case studies, behind-the-scenes experiences,
breakout sessions, and networking opportunities. These sessions and experiences are custom-created for our
attendees and are designed to demonstrate the power of creating extraordinary customer experiences.
History:

2014 IAAPA Leadership Conference in San Francisco
The 2014 conference expanded its educational theme with a focus on using your story to build success and
featured a keynote address from Roger Gould, Chief Creative Director, Pixar Animation Studios. Facility
visits included Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, Exploratorium, Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, and the San
Francisco Zoo.

2013 IAAPA Leadership Conference in Sao Paulo, Brazil
The 2013 conference program was held internationally for the first time with speakers from and site visits
to Hopi Hari, O Mundo da Xuxa, Museo de Futbol, and Sao Paulo Zoo.

2012 IAAPA Leadership Conference in Los Angeles
The 2013 conference was attended by 186 industry leaders from 23 countries and featured insights from
industry veteran Al Weber Jr., Ph.D., COO of Six Flags Entertainment. Attendees enjoyed behind the
scenes tours at Universal Studios Hollywood, Six Flags Magic Mountain, Pacific Park, California Science
Center, and Disneyland Resort.
