Creator God, you formed us in your image
and breathed your life into us, filling us with your spirit;
Yet we turn our backs to you and respond to the temptations
of wisdom beyond our grasp and the possibilities of power and gain.
Be merciful to us, O Lord, for we have sinned with open eyes and selfish hearts.
Be merciful, O Lord, for we know not what we do.
May your mercy fall on us, O Lord, as we seek to do your will,

Have-A-Heart
Annunciation School is grateful for the
kind and generous support from the

STOCKTON DIOCESE AND COMMUNITY
WANTED: Parishioner Volunteers for Easter Sunday Sunrise Celebration
On Easter Sunday, April 16, 2017 at 6:45am, the Fil-Am Group at Cathedral of the
Annunciation is celebrating the Feast of the Resurrection, through a re-enactment of
the meeting of Jesus and His Mother, the Blessed Virgin May. This is called Salubong.
Volunteers needed:
1. Eight kids, angels (boys and girls ages 6-10)
2. Eight men to carry the statues of Jesus and Mary
3. Female voices to sing the “Ave Maria”
4. Male voices to sing the “Were You There”
5. Parishioners to join the procession and sing
Rehearsal Saturday, April 1st in the Church 4pm.

The Cathedral of the Annunciation Ministry Fair will take place following
all masses on April 1st and 2nd in the plaza.
