Helen Andrew Memorial Garden/ The Japanese inspired memorial
garden designed by Len Andrew and Westover Landscapes, Inc. is now
complete. We thank all who donated to the garden in memory of Helen
Andrew who contributed so much of her talents and energy to the
Children’s Room at Warner Library. (1 PM)
Grand Opening of Program Rooms/ Renovations are almost complete,
and new AV and state-of-the-art improvements have been installed. Join us for a reception and refreshments and take a tour of
the newly refurbished rooms. Thanks to all
local residents, volunteers, contributors, and
well wishers who helped make all this possible. We are looking forward to welcoming our
patrons and neighbors to the Library’s attractive and up-to-date meeting and event space. (1:30 PM)
The Warner Seed Library, is a collection of flower,
herb, and vegetable seeds. Library patrons can
“check out” free seeds from the collection to grow in
their home gardens. Join us for our official launch
by attending our seed starting workshop on Monday, March 20 at 7 PM.
By promoting gardening in our towns, we hope to strengthen our connection with the environment and food system, and improve the happiness
and well being of Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow residents. On Thursday,
May 4 at 7 PM, Deb Taft of Mobius Farms will present Organic Vegetable
Gardening 101. Learn what to consider in planning a garden, from
choosing a site to selecting crops, quantities to grow for your family, and
when to get started.
Saturday and Sunday, April 22 & 23, 10 AM—5 PM/ Friends of Warner
Library Book Sale! Look for the big white tents on the lawn in front of the
library, and stop by for bargain books, DVDs, and CDs. Library concerts,

Opera— Experienced opera instructor Susan Grunthal will present a listening
study of opera ensembles; groups of three or more soloists singing

The Math Workshop/ Every other Thursday at 7:45 PM,
and throughout the school year, Middle School students
who seek math challenge will be coached through math
contest problems by local math enthusiast and parent,
Noah Zamdmer, Ph.D. This program will ready students

presentation that is powerful, fast and fun for the whole
