“Siempre Adelante – Keep Moving Forward”
On December 15, 2016 Bishop Armando X.
Ochoa will open our Diocese’s 50th Anniversary Year.
Bishop will be inviting all of the clergy, religious and
laity of our Diocesan Church to join him as he goes
out to some of the most underserved areas of our
Diocese, utilizing our new mobile chapel to bring
Mass to the people. The ministries that are supported
by the Bishop’s Annual Appeal will have a unique
opportunity to reach out to those who are not always
able to come to Church on a regular basis. You can
participate in this missionary activity by supporting
the Bishop’s Annual Appeal. No gift is too large or
too small. More information about the schedule of the
mobile chapel is forthcoming. God bless you for your
generosity!

Diocese by December 26, 2016 of
those volunteers and employees
who have completed and updated
their Safe Environment (SE)
training, either online or at on-site workshop.
Unfortunately, those persons who have not
completed or updated their SE training and
completed the finger printing process required by the
Diocese, will not be able to continue to volunteer in
the parish until these requirements have been
fulfilled.

remember that the main purpose for taking these
courses is for the protection of our children. Adults
learn to recognize a child in crisis and teach skills to
children on how to recognize risky situations. These
classes can save lives and avoid unnecessary grief.

and completed a Code of Conduct and Volunteer
application. This is also required of anyone who
wishes to volunteer at Our Lady of Victory parish.
