The Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) and NJ TRANSIT are preparing an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) to evaluate the
Hudson Tunnel Project (the Project). The Project is intended to preserve the current functionality of the Northeast Corridor’s (NEC)
Hudson River rail crossing between New Jersey and New York and strengthen the resiliency of the NEC. The FRA and NJ TRANSIT
are pleased to announce that they have identified a Preferred Alternative to be evaluated in the EIS. Two public meetings will be
held to provide opportunities for members of the public and stakeholders to learn about the Preferred Alternative, the alternatives
development process, and other Project information. The format for both meetings will be drop-in open houses between 4:00
PM and 7:00 PM. There will be no formal presentations; Project staff will be available to answer questions about the Project. The
meeting facilities are accessible to persons with disabilities. Spanish language translators will be present. If special translation,

La Administración Federal del Ferrocarril (FRA) y NJ TRANSIT están preparando una declaración de impacto ambiental (EIS) para
evaluar el Proyecto del Túnel Hudson (el Proyecto). El Proyecto se destina a preservar la funcionalidad actual del corredor ferroviario
del Corredor del Noreste (NEC) bajo el Río Hudson entre New Jersey y New York y a fortalecer a la resiliencia del NEC. La FRA y
NJ TRANSIT se complacen en anunciar que han identificado una Alternativa Preferida que será evaluada en el EIS. Dos reuniones
públicas se llevarán a cabo para proveer oportunidades a los miembros del público e interesados para aprender sobre la Alternativa
Preferida, el proceso de desarrollar alternativas y otra información sobre el Proyecto. El formato de ambas reuniones se consistirá
