We are next to start a new edition of the International Air and Space Fair, FIDAE, for what we have worked
professionally, organizing an exhibition that has positioned - in its more than 35 years of existence- as the
main renewal and investment center in aerospace, defence and security sector of the region.
FIDAE 2016 will be, once again, a dynamic and technological event, where exhibitors, as well as trade
visitors and delegations, will find a tailor-made fair, with major improvements in infrastructure and
processes, fully responding to all your commercial needs.
In this guide, we present the most relevant information to the different service companies participating in
FIDAE 2016, which have been selected under high standards and rigorous tender process.

Nos acercamos al comienzo de una nueva edición de la Feria Internacional del Aire y del Espacio,
FIDAE, para la cual hemos trabajado profesionalmente, organizando una muestra que se ha posicionado
-en sus más de 35 años de trayectoria- como el principal centro de renovación e inversión en materia
aeroespacial, de defensa y seguridad de la región.
FIDAE 2016 será una vez más un evento dinámico y tecnológico, en el cual los expositores, visitantes
y delegaciones profesionales encontrarán una feria hecha a su medida, con importantes mejoras en
infraestructura y procesos, respondiendo así plenamente a todas sus necesidades comerciales.

Exhibitor’s Certificate / Certificado del Expositor
The “Exhibitor’s Certificate” is a document issued by FIDAE, to be presented before the National Custom
Service, which indicates that the accredited company has the Exhibitor of FIDAE 2016 capacity, to apply
the corresponding exemption from customs duty. This certificate should be requested to the Commercial
Management, both national and foreign exhibitors.
All the companies that request this certificate shall meet the corresponding procedures that appoint them as
exhibitors of FIDAE 2016. This is through the signature of the Agreement to Rent Fair Spaces CAEF or the
send of the Associated Exhibitors Form.
Exhibitors entering goods to Chile in order to be exhibited at the Fair, shall be eligible for this temporary
exemption from custom duties that Chilean laws has given to FIDAE, by Decree Nº 159 dated 1979, from
the Ministry of Finance and Supreme Exempt Decree Nº 182, dated June 25, 2014, also from the Ministry
of Finance. Compliance of all customs requirements and the good use of this franchise will be the sole
responsibility of the exhibitor. For your convenience, FIDAE will have an Official Customs Agency on site,
which may act at exhibitor’s request and expense, in everything related to the use of this franchise.
Furthermore, there are excluded from this exemption all promotional material such as catalogues, brochures,
magazines, promotional items, etc. At being excluded from this privilege, the exhibitors shall pay THE
CUSTOMS DUTIES AND TAXES for this merchandising.
FIDAE will put at your disposal the Official Customs Agency, JORGE STEIN Y CÍA LTDA., which may be used
if the exhibitors require it, at their own expenses.
El “Certificado del Expositor” es un documento emitido por FIDAE para ser presentado ante el Servicio
Nacional de Aduanas, donde queda constancia que la empresa acreditada cuenta con la calidad de Expositor
de FIDAE 2016, por lo cual podrá acogerse a las franquicias aduaneras respectivas. Dicho certificado podrá
ser solicitado a través de la Gerencia Comercial por expositores nacionales e internacionales.
Todas aquellas empresas que soliciten este certificado, deberán haber cumplido con los procedimientos
correspondientes que los acrediten como expositores de FIDAE 2016. Esto, mediante la firma de un Convenio
de Arriendo de Espacios Feriales CAEF o mediante el envío del Formulario de Expositor Asociado.
Los Expositores que ingresen a Chile mercaderías para ser exhibidas en la Feria, podrán acogerse a la
franquicia aduanera de ingreso temporal que la legislación chilena ha otorgado a FIDAE, a través del Decreto
159, del año 1979, del Ministerio de Hacienda y Decreto Supremo Exento N°182, de fecha 25 de junio de
2014, también del Ministerio de Hacienda. El cumplimiento de todos los requisitos aduaneros y el buen uso
de esta franquicia, será de exclusiva responsabilidad del expositor. Para facilitar sus trámites, en FIDAE
habrá una Agencia de Aduanas Oficial que podrá intervenir a requerimiento y costo del expositor, en todo lo
relacionado con el uso de esta franquicia.
Quedan fuera de esta franquicia todos los productos de difusión, tales como catálogos, folletos, revistas,
artículos promocionales, etc. Al quedar excluidos de este privilegio, los expositores deberán pagar LOS
DERECHOS E IMPUESTOS ADUANEROS por estas mercancías.
FIDAE pondrá a disposición la Agencia de Aduanas Oficial, JORGE STEIN Y CIA LTDA. la cual puede ser
utilizada por el expositor si es que así lo estima conveniente, asumiendo los costos que conlleva.
