CHURCH DIRECTORY: We’re doing a pictorial
photo album to draw our church family closer together, to create a tool for telling people about our
ministries, and to celebrate our church. We begin
scheduling appointments last weekend after mass
there will be a person who will help schedule your
appointment. The photography will be taking on
November 23, 24 & 25 in Blessed Sacrament
Chapel, in Aberdeen and November 27, 28, 29 & 30
at St. Mary’s Chapel in American Falls. There is no
cost to the church and no sitting fee for your family. You will receive a complimentary 8x10 portrait and a copy of the photo album for participation. You
will be photographed, choose your pose for the photo album and have the
chance to make additional purchases all in one trip to the church. Please
sign up, we hope everyone will participate. Our photo album won’t be complete without you!
Mini Retreat for Women: Holy Spirit Catholic Community is hosting a mini
retreat for women on December 5, 2015 from 8 am to 12 pm at St. Paul’s in
Chubbuck, Idaho. The retreat is being presented by Women of the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist from Boise, Idaho. The cost is $10. For

Our Lady of Guadalupe Celebration: Come join our annual
Our Lady of Guadalupe Celebration on Saturday, December
12th at the Power County Fairgrounds at 6:00 am for Mañanitas. This will be followed by the rosary and breakfast. Mass will
also be held at the Fairgrounds at 12:30 pm that day.
Jacky Hooper will be giving a presentation to all who want to learn to
use the Catechism of the Catholic Church. The Catechism of the Catholic
Church explains what the Church believes (Creed), what she celebrates
(sacraments), what she lives (the morality) and what she prays. The Catechism of the Catholic Church offers challenges for believers and answers for
anyone interested in learning something of the mystery of the Catholic faith.
Everyone is cordially invited to this presentation especially all teachers and
helpers of the Catechism classes. The presentation will be held on Wednesday, November 18 at the Religious Education Center (Office) in American
Falls, at 6pm.

Catholic Campaign for Human Development: The 2010 Census Bureau reported that over 42 million Americans were living below the poverty level.
They live in families who are of necessity making hard choices between food,
health care, heat and rent. The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops works to educate Catholics about poverty and its causes in our nation
while also helping local, low-income groups change social structures and
policies which undermine ife and dignity, especially for the poor and powerless. Please be generous in this collection on November 22nd.
2016 CALENDARS: The 2016 Extension Service Calendars are now available. These calendars are bilingual and are located at the back or side of the
chapels. We have a very limited number of calendars, so please take only
one calendar per family or household.
ICYC FUNDRAISER: American Falls Confirmation 2nd year class will be
selling food (Red Posole & Green Posole), on Sunday November 22 after the
12:30 p.m. Mass in the basement of the St. Mary’s Chapel, to raise money for
the Idaho Catholic Youth Conference 2016 better known as ICYC.
ICYC RAFFLE: The confirmation students will be selling raffle tickets for a
12 piece nativity set as 1st prize a 2nd place is a hand crocheted afghan,
donated by Kate O'Dowd for the 2016 ICYC. Tickets are $2 each or 3 for
$5. The drawing will be held on December 20th after the 8:30 am mass in
Aberdeen.
PARISH COUNCIL: Parish Council will be held in American Falls at the RE
Center on Tuesday, November 17th at 6:30 pm. Social hour will be held at
Tres Hermanos at 5:00 pm before the council meeting.

Idaho Catholic Register: Nuestro periódico diocesano es una importante herramienta que podemos usar en nuestros propios hogares para ayudar a hacer

Campaña Católica para el Desarrollo Humano: La Oficina del Censo de 2010
informó que más de 42 millones de estadounidenses vivían por debajo del
nivel de pobreza. Ellos viven en familias que por necesidad deben hacer duras
decisiones entre la alimentación, la salud, el calor y el alquiler. La Conferencia
Estadounidense de Obispos Católicos trabaja para educar a los católicos sobre

RECAUDACION DE FONDOS PARA ICYC: Los Jovenes de Confirmacion estarán
