El tallado de dientes naturales puede realizarse marcando un margen definido (chamfer o
hombro) , o hacer una preparación sin margen
(vertical). La preparación vertical fue diseñada
para prótesis fija en dientes periodontales después de una cirugía resectiva.
Estas técnicas de preparación sin margen
pueden realizarse en todas las situaciones con
excelentes resultados estéticos y biológicos.
Durante el curso teórico-práctico, el Dr.Ignazio
Loi presentará la base biológica de esta metodología, así como la conformación de los perfiles gingivales y la parábola gingival.
Se presentará la técnica BOPT paso a paso
y con seguimiento a largo plazo, demostrando
la estabilidad de los resultados estéticos obtenidos, ya sea en prótesis fija metal-cerámica,
colada o con técnicas CADCAM y/o circonio.
En la parte práctica el Dr. Ignazio Loi realizará
un caso clínico en vivo de retratamiento, con
retallado y rebasado del provisional.
En la práctica preclinica se rebasarán unos
provisionales con la técnica BOPT sobre un
modelo.
The preparation of the natural tooth can be
done with a defined finishing line (chamfer or
shoulder), or by making a “no margin”
preparation (vertical).
The vertical preparation was designed for
fixed prosthetics on periodontally compromised
teeth, after the resective surgery.
This kind of technique can be used for all
sorts of situations with excellent esthetic and
biological results.
During the lecture, Dr. Ignazio Loi will expose
the biological base upon this method, as well
as the conformation of the emergence profile.
The BOPT technique will be presented step
by step, showing the long therm stable
results and the possibilities with metal,
CAMCAM techniques or zirconia.
During the practical part, the student will
reline a provisional in a model.
Dr. Ignazio Loi will be doing a live real
case retreatment with the preparation of the
tooth and relying of the provisional.
