COMAT 2015
VI International Conference on
Science and Technology
of Composite Materials
7-8 May 2015
Buenos Aires, Argentina
Nanocomposites Challenges: From Academia to Industry”
After Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires, Yucatan, Rio de Janeiro and San
Sebastian, the 6th COMAT in 2015 will be held in Buenos Aires,
Argentina
.
The objective of 6th COMAT is to bring together composites
scientists, engineers, technologists and students to exchange ideas,
to discuss the latest developments in composites and to present
their research work to the international composites community. A
number of leading researchers in the field of composite materials
will be invited to deliver plenary lectures.
All types of composites will be considered, such as advanced
composite materials and structures, natural fiber composites,
nanocomposites and its properties and processing, including
industrial applications such as structural, naval, automotive,
biomedical, packaging, biodegradable composites and
multifunctional composites. Other typical conference topics will be
interphases and interfaces, durability and reliability, recycling,
joining and repairing, fracture and failure, microtesting, multiscale
modelling.
The conference is scheduled for 2 complete days (May 7-8,
2015). Every day will start with a plenary invited lecture followed by
oral sessions, roundtables and flash poster presentations.
Manuscripts presented at the conference will be published in the
conference proceedings.
