A PRAYER FOR THE YEAR OF MERCY
BY POPE FRANCIS
Lord Jesus Christ, you have taught us to be merciful
like the heavenly Father, and have told us that whoever
sees you sees God. Show us your face and we will be
saved. You are the visible face of the invisible Father,
of the God who manifests his power above all by forgiveness and mercy: let us the Church be your visible
face in the world. Send your Spirit and consecrate every one of us with its anointing, so that the Jubilee of
Mercy may be a year of grace from the Lord, and your
Church, with renewed enthusiasm, may bring good
news to the poor, proclaim liberty to captives and the
oppressed, and restore sight to the blind. We ask this
through the intercession of Mary, Mother of Mercy,
you who live and reign with the Father and the Holy
Spirit for ever and ever. Amen.
STATIONS OF THE CROSS
Want to join Christ on the road of Calvary?
Want to know the true meaning of Christ’s death?
If your answer is YES, join us every Friday of Lent
after the 8:00 am Mass, to meditate the Stations of the
Cross (in English).
Traveling this way will help you to realize the path that
Christ took to Calvary. You respond with your inner
conviction.
Hope you join us and remember that Christ died and
has risen for us.
2015 CONTRIBUTION LETTER
If you would like a letter of your Church contributions for 2015 please contact the Rectory office
and it would be mailed out to you. Thank you.
WORLD DAY OF THE SICK
In observance of the World Day of the Sick, every year
celebrated on the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes on February 11th, the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick will

PERSONAL STATIONS OF THE CROSS

with prayer booklets available every day of Lent? Many
different booklets are available in the lighted book rack
closest to the First Station (near the 50th Ave side entrance). Feel free to use them and please return them to
the rack afterwards, so that others can use them.
“SEASON OF LENT”
The following is a prayerful reflection on the everyday
things we can turn from and turn toward to make our
world alive with new life and hope. It offers a different
twist on the Lenten fast—
“To fast from
To feast on
Anger
Patience
Discouragement
Hope
Selfishness
Compassion
Mediocrity
Excellency
Laziness
Enthusiasm
Sadness
Happiness
Insincerity
Truthfulness
Dissatisfaction
Contentment
Hatred
Forgiveness
Individualism
Fraternal life”
WORLD MARRIAGE DAY

ORACION DEL PAPA FRANCISCO PARA EL
JUBILEO
Amen

“LEXOPHILE”
“Lexophile” is a word used to describe those who have a
love of words, such as “Acupuncture is a jab well done.
That’s the point.” And the cream of the twisted crop:
“Those who get too big for their pants will be totally
exposed in the end.” Always laugh when you can; It’s
cheap medicine!
