Bautismo: El Sacramento del Bautismo para niños menores de 7 años de
edad se celebra el 2do. fin de semana de cada mes. Los padres deben
asistir a clases de preparación las cuales se efectúan el 4to. Lunes de cada
mes. Se recomienda atender la clase antes del nacimiento del niño. Esto
asegura un tiempo de espera mínimo antes de que el niño sea bautizado.
Los padrinos son también bienvenidos pero no es obligatorio que atiendan
las clases. Por favor, llame a la oficina para registrarse.
Los niños que hallan cumplido 7 años de edad deben involucrarse en su
preparación para los sacramentos. Contacte la oficina para más
información.
Enfermos y Recluidos en Casa: Cualquier miembro de parroquia con
enfermedad y en necesidad de recibir la Santa Comunión en su casa o en
una casa de cuidados médicos que resida dentro de los limites de la
parroquia debe llamar a la Oficina de la Parroquia o enviar email a:

Reconciliación: El Sacramento de la Reconciliación se celebra en la escuela
los días Sábado de 3—4 pm. Martes en la Oficina Parroquial a las 9:00 AM
y cada Primer Viernes de mes a las 6:00 PM, o haciendo una cita con el

Unción de los Enfermos: Cualquier miembro de la parroquia que tenga
programada una cirugía de alto riesgo debería recibir el Sacramento de la
Unción de los Enfermos antes de la hospitalización. Favor contacte la

SPONSOR COUPLE PROGRAM
as part of the MARRIAGE PREPARATION
AT ST. FAUSTINA CATHOLIC CHURCH.
Couples married for five years, validly
married in the Catholic Church and are
practicing Catholics are welcome to volunteer.
What is it? This is a m inistry of m arried
couples to those contemplating Christian
marriage in the Roman Catholic Church. Couples meet
with an engaged couple in the mentor couples’ home for
four two-hour meetings and work through a series of
discussions that are laid out in the For Better and For
Ever Resource Guide by Fr. Robert A. Ruhnke.
What is required of you?
 You attend two training sessions sponsored by the
Archdiocese of Galveston/Houston
 You can expect to receive approximately 2 to 4
couples for mentoring per year
 You meet with your assigned couple in your home 4
to 5 times for about 2 hours
 You schedule the meeting with your assigned couple
at your convenience
 You control whether or not you want to accept a
couple for mentoring
 You share your own stories and experiences of
Christian married life
 You use a guidebook For Better and For Ever
Resource Guide by Fr. Robert Ruhnke
The Sponsor Couples who offer this Couple Sponsor
Program will also have the opportunity to see their own
marriages in a new light. They will renew their love for
each other as they explore their own particular needs as
well as their tendencies that harm their relationships.

Art and Environment
Committee Ministry
The beauty of our parish liturgies reflects our recognition of
the wonder of the Lord’s real presence in our midst.
The purpose of the Art and
Environment Ministry is to identify
and coordinate the many components
of parish worship in order to enhance
our community’s celebrations. Our
goal is to help our St. Faustina
parishioners experience their
connection with God and one another through the
coordinating liturgical colors, flowers, etc. Volunteers are
needed to help in this effort.
Arts & Environment Ministry will be holding
regular monthly classes for members of the church
interested in helping with Arts & Environment.
Art & Environment Classes
The classes will be held at the home of Lisa Guerre,
coordinator of the Arts & Environment Ministry on the
third Wednesday of each month at 10:00am.
Each class will be 2 hours.
Next scheduled classes will be held on
November 18 and December 16.

Wedding Anniversary Jubilee Mass celebrations
The 2015 Wedding Anniversary Jubilee Masses
honoring couples celebrating their Golden (50th)
or silver (25th) Anniversaries of marriage in the
Catholic Church will be held on: Golden -50 Years
of Marriage- Sunday, December 20, 2015 and Silver -25 years of
Marriage- Sunday, November 29, 2015, at the Co-Cathedral of
the Sacred Heart at 3 pm. Whether or not a couple attends the
ceremony, they are eligible to receive a special recognition.
Couples wishing to participate are asked to register on line by
visiting www.familylifeministryhouston.org. Please fill out all the
information requested and make sure that the name of each
couple is typed exactly as they wish them to appear on their
recognition. Deadline for registrations varied, we encourage you
to read all the information attentively. Registration will not be
processed if the information about the Catholic Wedding cannot
be verified and/or if the fee of $25 dollars per couple is not
received, financial help is available. Each couple will be able to
bring a maximum of 6 family members or friends to the Mass.
