Setting boundaries fosters healthy relationships
We create boundaries to keep our lives in order, for example many
adults separate personal and professional relationships. Trusted adults
can help teach children to do the same. Boundaries are essential in the
foundation of relationships, and children should be comfortable expressing where they draw their own lines. “No means no” is easy to
say in theory, but it should be respected in practice by your kids and
their friends, teachers and other adults. Teach your kids how to explore their own comfort zones and give them time to tell you about
their experiences. Open communication helps them understand that
