(Vestibule of the sanctuary).
We Need Your Help – Please Donate. Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, February is often seen as the month to celebrate love. However, for some youth, love is misguided and exploited. Did you know that an estimated 286,506 kids are at risk of sexual exploitation according the US National Report? Sexual exploitation and human trafficking is a very real problem in our area. Please join the YCLC and ViZions Young Adult Ministry in collecting toiletries for Courtney’s House, a D.C. based non-‐profit, focused on protecting children from sexual exploitation. When these youth are rescued by Courtney’s House, they are in need of the basics. Over the next two Sundays, February 8th and 15th, we will be collecting soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant and hair care products to donate. We are also accepting monetary donations and the youth and young adults will purchase the necessary items. The donations will be collected in a box marked “Donations” located in the narthex of the church. Thank you! Contact: Sis. Regina Cox or Min. Alfonso L. Campbell.
