It was lovely to meet so many of you and to hear your comments about the school. I know that many of you are as proud of what we achieve here at Church of the Ascension as I am and the partnership between home and school is key to helping our children achieve all that they are capable of. Whilst on the subject of Home and School, a big thank you to the H.S.A for funding the new equipment that has been installed this week around the Reception play area. Hopefully, we will soon have some warmer weather in order to allow the children to fully enjoy the story telling chair and the sand pit shelter. Our next H.S.A event is the disco on Thursday evening - see the advert below for more details! Finally, can I take this opportunity to remind parents that morning school begins at 8.50 prompt. Recently there seems to have been a surge in children arriving late for school on a regular basis. Dudley Catering Services have strict procedures with respect to dinner money arrears and if these become substantial, parents will be advised that a school meal cannot be provided until the outstanding payment is cleared.
