Living Mercy in the Jubilee Year of Mercy
Jesus is the “face” of the Father’s mercy
Jesus of Nazareth, Pope Francis writes
in Misericordiae Vultus, the Bull of
Indiction of the Extraordinary Jubilee of
Mercy, is the “face” of the Father’s
mercy—he reveals the mercy of God by
his words, actions, and person. We
follow Jesus’ example when we open
ourselves to the Father’s mercy by
looking “sincerely” into the eyes of our brothers and
sisters, including those “who are denied their dignity.”
How have you experienced the Father’s mercy in
your own life? How might Jesus be calling you to
look “sincerely” into the eyes of those who are
denied their dignity?

HEALING SERVICE
Tuesday, February 2 at 7 PM
Bishop Robert Barron reminds us that in Luke’s
gospel the angel says to the shepherds: “For today in
the city of David a savior has been born for you who
is Messiah and Lord: (Luke 2:11). Savior is Soter in
Greek, which means “healer.” This healer is “Christ
and Lord.” Messiah (Christ) means “anointed”. He is
Lord - the one who should dominate us, rule over
every aspect of us.
Come to seek the healing, saving, anointing of the
Lord Jesus who rules over our lives with love and
mercy to bring healing to our emotions, bodies,
minds, hearts and souls in order to overcome illness,
grief, remorse and regret.
Join Father Jerome for Scripture, songs, Eucharistic
Adoration and time for you to approach Jesus with
great faith in His healing power.
Contemplate the Mysteries.
Every Monday at 6 p.m.
in the Church before the
Exposed Blessed Sacrament

III DOMINGO DEL TIEMPO ORDINARIO AÑO C
PRIMERA LECTURA NEHEMÍAS 8, 2-4A 5-6 8-10
SEGUNDA LECTURA 1ª CORINTIOS 12, 12-31A
EVANGELIO LUCAS 1, 1-4; 4, 14-21
