PRESENTACIÓN / PRESENTATION
El Instituto de Ciencia Procesal Penal – Incipp, es un asociación
sin fines de lucro conformada en 1994 por un grupo de docentes, interesados en la investigación y difusión del Derecho penal
y procesal penal.
Con el paso de los años, el Incipp ha crecido paulatinamente al
incorporar nuevos miembros, abarcar el estudio de áreas afines
al derecho penal, contemplar mayores y diversas tareas académicas, entre otros.
De todos los nuevos espacios de crecimiento, la reforma procesal penal –impulsada a partir de la aplicación progresiva del
Código Procesal Penal de 2004 es, sin duda, el escenario privilegiado en el que el Incipp, ha encontrado la posibilidad de consolidar el objeto de su constitución, contribuyendo con ello, con la
mejora del sistema de justicia penal en Perú.
En esa medida, el compromiso del Incipp con la reforma procesal penal se traduce en diversas acciones, como la capacitación
de los operadores penales, la elaboración de material académico, sistematización y propuestas de solución de la problemática
emergente de la aplicación del nuevo Código, etc.
No obstante todo lo alcanzado, somos conscientes de que aún
queda mucho por hacer, y en ese cometido nos hallamos inmersos quienes integramos el Instituto de Ciencia Procesal Penal.

The Institute of Procedural and Criminal Science –INCIPP, is a
nonprofit association created in 1994 by a group of educationalists, interested in the investigation and diffusion of criminal law.
Through the years, the INCIPP has gradually grown after incorporating new members, including the study of related areas to
criminal law and considering greater and diverse academic
tasks, among others.
From all the new growing spaces, the Criminal Procedure
Reform –impelled from the progressive application of 2004
Code of Criminal Procedure-, is undoubtedly, the privileged
scenario in which INCIPP has found the possibility of consolidating the aim of its constitution, thus contributing to the improvement of the criminal justice system in Peru.
In this way, the commitment of INCIPP to the criminal procedure reform results in diverse actions, such as the training of criminal operators, the elaboration of academic material, the systematization and solution proposals to the emergent problematic
situation of the application of the new code, etc.
Despite having reached many things, we are aware of the fact
that there is still a lot to do, and all of us who make up the institute of Procedural and Criminal Science are involved in that
task.

MISIÓN / MISSION
Nuestra visión es ser una institución referente y comprometida
con la difusión del derecho penal, procesal penal y el éxito de
la reforma del sistema de justicia penal de nuestro país,
aportando para ello nuestro conocimiento y capacidad
técnica, para lograr los mejores cambios en lo sustantivo y
procesal, así como en la política criminal de nuestra Nación.
El Instituto de Ciencia Procesal Penal tiene por misión la difusión, promoción y desarrollo de la ciencia procesal penal y
ciencias afines mediante la elaboración de herramientas
académicas y técnicas que contribuyan directa o indirectamente con la mejora del servicio de justicia penal.
Our visión is to become an institution commited to the
difussion of either the criminal and procedural law and to the
success of the reform of the criminal justice system of our
country, sharing all of or knowledge and technical capacities to
achieve the best results in terms of procedural and criminal law
in our country.
The mission of INCIPP is all about the difussion, promotion
and development of the criminal procedural science and related sciences by developping academical and technical tools
that will contribute with the service of criminal justice.
