Dear Parents,
We have had a very active and positive two months. We are looking forward to a fantastic year at Cielo Vista Charter. Great job
students, teacher and families, we are very proud of all of you. It takes a lot of hard work and a team to continue to do such a fantastic
job. The staff is very excited about the 2014/2015 year. We have ordered enough laptops for all students 1st grade through 6th grade to
allow one/one student access. We have added a cart of Ipads so all the kindergarten students also have one/one uses of technology.
Thanks to PTG for organizing the Farm to School program. This is a great chance to order fresh produce and have it delivered to
school.
The cooler weather is rapidly approaching us and we want to remind you that the outer wear for the CVC uniforms is as follows:
Solid black or khaki ball caps and outer sweatshirt and coats. No logos on outer garment unless it is the CVC logo. Sweat shirts can be
purchased on line.
PTG has also done a great job with the Walk to School on Wednesdays. They are on the second and fourth Wednesday of the
month. The Golden Shoe award will be given out at our next Character Counts Assembly.
We want to remind you that we are a school of choice and that means you all agreed to follow the CVC contract. Attendance is a
very high priority and I will be calling families in for a consultation if your attendance record has been poor.
Thanks to the families that are following our contract and helping to make us successful. We are proud of our CVC family and the
high expectations we up hold.
Many of you have asked about CVC expanding to a K-8 school. I am talking to PSUSD and they are working to see if that is
something that can happen in the near future. I will let you know when or if something has been worked out. If you have any questions
please call.

intimida, golpea o lastima a nadie. Llega a un acuerdo tranquilamente con el disgusto, los insultos y
los desacuerdos.
Estimados Padres,
Hemos tenido dos meses muy activos y positivos. Estamos mirando adelante a un año fantástico en Cielo Vista Charter. Muy buen trabajo estudiantes, maestros y familias, estamos muy orgullosos de todos ustedes. Se necesita mucho trabajo duro y un equipo para seguir haciendo un trabajo fantástico. El personal está muy entusiasmado con el año escolar 2014/2015. Hemos ordenado suficientes computadoras portátiles para todos los estudiantes de 1er a 6to grado para permitir que cada estudiante tenga acceso a su propia computadora. Hemos añadido una carreta de Ipads por lo que todos los alumnos de kínder también tendrán usos de tecnología. Gracias a PTG por la organización del programa de granja a Escuela. Esta es una gran oportunidad de pedir los productos frescos y serán entregados en la escuela. El clima más frío se aproxima rápidamente y queremos recordarles que la ropa exterior de los uniformes CVC es el siguiente: gorras de béisbol negro o caqui y suéter y abrigos. La ropa no debe llevar nada de letras ni fotos a menos que sea el palco CVC. Sudaderas se pueden comprar por internet. PTG también ha hecho un gran trabajo con la caminata a la escuela los miércoles que son en el segundo y cuarto miércoles de cada mes. El premio “The Golden Shoe” se entregara en nuestra próxima Asamblea de los pilares de carácter. Queremos recordarles que somos una escuela de su elección y eso significa que todos ustedes estuvieron de acuerdo en seguir el contrato de CVC. La asistencia es una prioridad y voy a estar llamando a las familias para una consulta si su registro de asistencia se muestra excesivo. Gracias a las familias que están siguiendo nuestro contrato y que contribuyen a nuestro éxito. Estamos orgullosos de nuestra familia CVC y las altas expectativas que mantienen. Muchos de ustedes han preguntado acerca de la expansión de CVC a una escuela K-­‐8. Estoy hablando con PSUSD y están trabajando para ver si esto es algo que puede suceder en el futuro próximo.
