Perry impulsaría a maestros y a
Elia Mendoza, directora estatal
de la Liga de Ciudadanos Latinoamericanos Unidos (LULAC),
afirmó que varias organizaciones
están listas para frenar la propuesta.

A walk into the “Creating a Vision” gallery allows children and

According to Fulkerson, each
dress on average takes about nine

for renovations and reuse. According to Brooks, the elimination of
the buildings will allow for new
developments and the eventual
creation of 1,500 jobs.
“In order to build up here at
Brooks, we’re going to need to
tear down,” U.S. Representative
Lloyd Doggett said. “I believe that
already we have replaced at Brooks
City Base what must be the most
successful conversion anywhere in
the country, from a military base to
a private-public partnership.”
The grant will provide funds for
more than half of the project, which
be matched by the City of San Antonio. Brooks had previously tried
to complete the demolition alone
before Rep. Doggett advised them
to apply for help from the EDA.
“Eleven, 12 years ago we lost
2,700 jobs when Brooks Air Force
Base was announced as a base for
closure,” Leo Gomez, Brooks CityBase President said.
“Eventually the Air Force left
this community completely in
terms of it being a tenant. The Air
Force literally doesn’t have a tenant
directly on Brooks today, yet today,
we have over 3,000 people working at Brooks averaging $55,000 a
year,” Gomez added.
According to Gomez, the base
will most likely create additional
Class-A office buildings or pads
for light industrial operations once
the demolition is complete. The
entire process could take up to
three years.
Of the 23 buildings in the project, five have been designated for
asbestos removal before demolition. The entire project could take
up to 38 months to complete, but
Brooks City Base officials are confident that the additional space will
encourage local and international
businesses to come to the area.

South Side S.A. jumps it’s way to fun
By Lea Thompson

eryone has so much fun,”Aryss
Vara, an employee at Flip’z said.
“I’ll come here with my friends to
exercise, while having fun.”
Vara is one of the many young
adults using the trampoline park
as a place to hang out with friends,
get a great workout or even play
dodgeball.
According to Reyes, a lot of
adults come in to jump with their
kids after school or meet up with
groups of friends. She and her son
jump together regularly and have
already lost weight. Trampoline
jumping burns 1,000 calories per
hour, which is a lot more than an
hour of running Reyes added.
“It brings back a lot of childhood
memories for a lot of the adults, so
at first they’ll pay for their kids to
jump, then five, 10 minutes pass
and they go and buy themselves
a wristband because they want to
jump too,” Reyes continued “It
entices them to become a kid again.”
Reyes has previously worked with
Pica Pica Plaza and is happy to be
working with other small businesses
in the area to help the Southside
develop and grow. At $10 an hour
or $15 for two hours, the park is
quickly becoming an affordable recreational destination for residents.
“I’m from the Southside, I was
born and raised here,” Reyes said.
San Antonio’s Southside residents usually drive up North to
enjoy most entertainment destinations, but the recently opened Flip’z
Trampoline Park is a major game
changer for the area’s recreational
options.
Located in Pica Pica Plaza, the
25,000-square-foot trampoline park
makes entertainment affordable to
all age groups for recreation, birthdays and private events.
“There’s nothing like this on the
Southside,” Cynthia Reyes, the
General Manager said. “It’s always
been if you want to do something
fun you have to travel to North San
Antonio because that’s where all the
places like Main Event are. If you
want to celebrate in the Southside
you go to a pizza place or have
a party at home. I’m excited that
we’re changing that for the Southside.”
Although the majority of the
jumpers are between ages five to
15, the park welcomes teens and

Mexico hopes Filmin Latino
will boost movie industry
EFE - The Mexican Film Institute, or Imcine, plans to use Filmin
Latino, a subscription video service
that is going online next month, to
distribute movies, the institute’s
director, Jorge Sanchez, told Efe.
A catalog of 600 films from
Mexico and other Ibero-American
countries will be available during the first few months that the
service operates, with the number
of titles rising to 800 by the end of
2015, thanks to a partnership with
Filmin’s digital platform in Spain,
Sanchez said.
Filmin Latino will provide highquality and independent films
with limited distribution options,
expanding movie offerings on the
Internet, Sanchez told Efe during
the Guadalajara Film Festival,
which runs until March 15.
“Despite the large volume of
information and access to content
that we have, we have to deal
with a tremendous uniformity of
offerings, and we have to break
this barrier in some way and take
advantage of new technologies,”
Sanchez said.
Few Mexican films, according to
Imcine figures, are in the catalogs
of the eight streaming services
available in Mexico, and the majority of the titles are recent.
Of the 2,415 films available on
Netflix, 130 are Mexican; while
just 352 of the 2,949 movies offered by Clarovideo were made in
this country.
Part of the catalog of Mexican
and foreign films will be available
via monthly subscriptions or on
demand, Sanchez said.

Consumers need to be cautious
when renting a vacation home
By Erin Dufner
Ready to start booking your next
vacation? Maybe you’re thinking
about renting a house or condo.
These days it’s easy to connect
directly with property owners who
advertise their vacation homes
online, and you’ve probably heard
wonderful stories from people who
rent vacation properties. We have,
too. But we’ve also heard from
people who’ve fallen for vacation rental scams. Better Business
Bureau serving Central, Coastal,
Southwest Texas and the Permian
Basin warns consumers of scammers who may see vacation plans
as an opportunity to rip people off.
There are many ways rental
scams work. In most cases, con
artists create rental listings that
may contain appealing photos to
attract customers. Once the potential renter has fallen in love, the
phony landlord collects an up-front
deposit, leaving the vacationer
to find out they’ve been cheated
when they show up at the address
weeks later.
Bait-and-switch is another way
scammers may appeal to vacation
home hunters. The scammer may
show them a home that isn’t actually available and at the last minute
change the location to a much less
appealing property.
Today, there are more secure
ways of renting a vacation home
rather than just finding an online
ad. Legitimate websites exist
to protect renters by providing
secure payment solutions, visitor
comment sections and rating systems. However, even legitimate
sites are not immune to dishonest
cons.
BBB warns consumers of the
following red flags when searching for a vacation rental property:
The deal sounds too good to be
true. Con artists will often list a
rental for a very low price to lure
victims. Find out how comparable
listings are priced. If the rental
comes in suspiciously low, con-
sider walking away.
The landlord is located elsewhere and prefers to communicate
via email. Scammers might say
they have just relocated out of the
country for a job or missionary
work. If the landlord is truly overseas, there is also no way to get a
copy of a lease or keys.
The landlord cannot provide
additional photos or information.
Request more photos of the property, or ask to be given a virtual
tour via webcam. Ask for specific
details about the house. Legitimate
property owners will be happy to
oblige.
Being told you must rent now
because others are putting money
down. Sometimes you may receive a phone call or email pressuring you to make a decision on
the spot for a rental. The crook
may tell you that someone else is
interested and will pay more, in
order for you to act now. Ignore
it and move on.
The landlord asks the renter to
wire money. Money sent via wire
transfer service is extremely difficult to retrieve. Once the scammers have picked it up, there is
little recourse, if any, for getting
any money back.
If you don’t want to be a victim
for your next vacation rental, find
businesses you can trust at BBB.

Investing in a secure, stable Central America
By Vice President Joe Biden
Earlier this month, I spent two
days in Guatemala meeting with
Central American leaders about
our mutual efforts to tackle one
of the most significant and urgent
challenges facing the Western
Hemisphere: bringing stability
to this impoverished and violent
region.
The President and I are determined to address conditions in El
Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras and help these countries on
their path to economic prosperity.
To that end, we requested $1 billion in next year’s budget to help
Central America’s leaders make
the difficult reforms and investments required to put the region on
a more stable and sustainable path.
But we are just as determined
to see these countries make their
own commitments to depart from
business as usual and embark on
a serious new effort to deliver
opportunity and security to their
long-suffering people.
As I told these leaders back in
June — and I reiterated earlier this
month — as long as you are on
the path to meaningful and lasting
change, the United States will be
there with you.
What we have seen since then
has not been business as usual
in Central America. With our
support, the leaders of the region
have committed themselves to a
joint plan with the Inter-American
Development Bank called the Alliance for Prosperity. It includes
reforms of the police systems, the
expansion of community centers
to create the conditions we know
prevent migration, measures to
reduce poverty, steps to attract
foreign investment and the continuation of our successful efforts
to target smuggling networks.
These are challenges the region
has long faced but lacked the political will necessary to address.
Even before my recent visit, El
Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras had quickly taken steps to
start implementing the Alliance
for Prosperity. Honduras signed
an agreement with an international
nongovernmental organization to
increase governmental transparency. Guatemala has added new
law enforcement officers and
reassigned others to areas most
in need, helping to reduce Guatemala’s murder rate by one-third.
El Salvador passed a law providing new protections for investors.
And during my visit, the region’s leaders signed on to time
frames, benchmarks and a first set
of measurable commitments. For
example, they committed to:
Create independent governmental auditing mechanisms by
the end of 2015 to ensure their
citizens’ tax dollars — and U.S.
assistance — are used as effectively as possible;
Update regulations to promote
a regional electricity market and
complete the construction of a gas
pipeline from Mexico to Central
America, making energy more
affordable for consumers;
Train additional police officers
and expand centers in high-crime
neighborhoods for at-risk youth;
and
Develop programs to address
domestic violence and promote
women’s domestic empowerment
by 2016, and to send experts to
help.
A great deal of work lies ahead.
We have requested $1 billion for
Central America in 2016 because
Central America cannot do it
alone. If the United States is not
present, these reforms will falter.
But the combination of Central
American political will and international support can be transformative, especially since the three
governments have committed to
match or exceed international

assistance to their countries. We
intend to focus our assistance in
three areas.
• First, improvements in security
are essential. El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras have three of
the five highest per capita murder
rates in the world. But some communities in Guatemala and El
Salvador are already seeing reductions in violence from well-proven
U.S.-sponsored programs in community policing, specialized training, and youth centers similar to
the Boys and Girls Clubs. We
want to help their governments extend these programs to help stabilize neighborhoods and eradicate
transnational criminal networks
that threaten Central America’s
communities and our own.
• Second, in the 21st century,
good governance is essential to
attracting jobs and investment.
Court systems, government contracting and tax collection are not
widely perceived as fair or transparent. The countries of Central
America have some of the lowest
effective tax rates in the Americas.
Central American countries need
to do a better job collecting and
managing revenues to invest in
their own futures. We will assist
in these efforts.
• Third, we are ready to offer
technical expertise to help Central
American countries attract significantly greater private investment.
It’s no secret what is required:
clear and streamlined rules and
regulations, protections for inves-
tors, curbs on corruption, courts
that adjudicate disputes fairly,
and protections for intellectual
property.
As we request $1 billion from
the United States Congress to
empower Central American leaders to address each of these challenges, our own government needs
to move quickly to show results
and hold ourselves accountable
as well. That means rigorously
evaluating our programs to build
on what works and eliminate
what doesn’t deliver the impact
we need. The process is already
underway, and we look forward to
working closely with Congress to
craft the most effective assistance
package.
This level of support is nearly
three times what we have provided
to Central America in the recent
past. But the cost of investing now
in a Central America where young
people can thrive in their own
communities pales in comparison
to the costs of another generation
of violence, poverty, desperation
and emigration.
The challenges ahead are formidable. Solving them will take
years. But Central America’s
leaders have now laid out a shared
plan to move their region forward
and taken the first steps to make it
a reality. If they can deliver, Central America can become the next
great success story of the Western
Hemisphere.
We seek Congress’s help to
make it so.

Dermatologists share tips for treating shingles
If you have ever had chickenpox,
or been vaccinated for it, you are at
risk for getting shingles – a painful, blistering rash. This is because
after the chickenpox clears, the
virus stays in the body. If the virus
reactivates, or wakes up, you could
get shingles.
“Although shingles is much less
contagious and itchy than chickenpox, it tends to cause more pain,”
said board-certified dermatologist
Daniela Kroshinsky, MD, MPH,
FAAD, assistant professor of
dermatology, Harvard Medical
School. “In addition, although
the shingles rash usually clears
in a few weeks, some people can
experience pain, numbness, itching
and tingling that can last months or
even years.”
According to dermatologists
from the American Academy of
Dermatology (Academy), common
signs and symptoms of shingles
include:
• An area of skin that burns,
itches, tingles or feels very sensitive: This usually occurs in a small
area on one side of the body and
lasts one to three days.
• A rash that begins as red spots
and quickly turns into groups of
clear, painful blisters: These may
turn yellow or bloody before they
scab over and heal.
• Flu-like symptoms: A fever or
headache may occur with the rash.
• Pain: Sometimes, the pain is
bad enough for a doctor to prescribe medication. The pain tends
to lessen once the blisters heal,
experimento.
Los perros tienen un olfato diez
veces superior al del hombre,
por lo que el equipo cree que
“los médicos podrían utilizar pe
rros entrenados para detectar la
presencia de cáncer de tiroides
en una etapa temprana”, indicó
Donald Bodenner, experto en
endocrinología oncológica de la
Facultad de Ciencias Médicas
de la Universidad de Arkansas
(UAMS) y autor principal del
estudio.
Si bien Bodenner no sugiere
34 casos.
Los científicos indicaron que
prevén ampliar su estudio y
colaborar con la Facultad de
Veterinaria de la Universidad de
Auburn puesto que la detección
de olores canina tiene la ventaja
de ser un método no invasivo y
de bajo costo.
which can take two to three weeks.
To help relieve shingles pain and
discomfort, the Academy recommends the following tips:
• See a board-certified dermatologist as soon as symptoms appear.
A dermatologist may prescribe
anti-viral medicine and a medicine to help reduce the pain more
quickly. When used within 72
hours of the rash appearing, these
medications may make symptoms
milder and shorter.
• Cool the rash with ice packs,
cool wet cloths, or cool baths.
• Gently apply calamine lotion
to the rash and blisters. Never pick
at, scratch or pop the blisters, as
the fluid within the blisters can be
contagious and blisters help your
skin heal.
• Cover the rash with loose, nonstick, sterile bandages.
• Wear loose, cotton clothing
around the body parts that hurt.
“If you suspect you have shingles, avoid contact with women
who are pregnant and anyone
who has not had chickenpox or
has not been vaccinated, and see a
board-certified dermatologist right
away,” said Dr. Kroshinsky.
According to the Centers for
Disease Control and Prevention,
nearly one million Americans
experience shingles each year,
and the disease is most common in
older adults. A vaccine, which can
help prevent shingles, is available
to people ages 50 and older, and
it is recommended by dermatologists.
These tips are demonstrated in
“Shingles: Pain Management,” a
video posted to the Academy website and the Academy’s YouTube
channel. This video is part of the
Dermatology A to Z: Video Series,
which offers relatable videos that
demonstrate tips people can use to
properly care for their skin, hair
and nails. A new video in the series
posts to the Academy’s website
and YouTube channel each month.

refrescos. Sería bueno que estas
compañías limitaran esta publicidad”, dijo Park.
De acuerdo con el estudio “Sugary
Drink Facts 2014” de Yale Rudd
Center for Food Policy & Obesity,
los niños hispanos son uno de los
principales blancos de la publicidad
de las compañías de refrescos, que
en el 2013 gastaron 866 millones de
dólares para promocionar bebidas
poco saludables.

Herrera looking to succeed Menéndez in the House
By Joe Sandoval
Spring break may be on, but for
Delicia Herrera it’s time to get out
and educate the public. The lesson
she wants to get across is that there’s
a Special Election in three weeks
and she’s on the ballot.
The one-time former District 6
San Antonio City Councilwoman
wants to follow in the footsteps of
José Menéndez and represent Texas
House District 124.
The musical chair situation came
about when then State Sen. Leticia
Van de Putte resigned to run for San
Antonio mayor.
Menéndez won that open seat
Special Election and stepped down
from the Dist. 124 position and now
Herrera wants it. She opted to seek
the post after working on the Menéndez campaign and that’s where she
made the decision.
“I wasn’t thinking about doing it
until the next day when I started getting a lot of phone calls and emails,”
she told La Prensa exclusively.
“That’s when I started thinking
about it and maybe this was an opportunity about myself.”
In Austin Monday afternoon surrounded by family and friends, Herrera filed for the House District 124
seat and admitted it’s not going to
be easy because it’s a short election.
“Early voting starts Monday,
March 23,” she said. “Election day
is Tuesday, March 31, so we’re
working in a very short window.”
That small window presents a
problem with the voter on another
front, as Herrera put it. Many are
confused and the reason being the
upcoming City Council Elections.
“Because it is a special election in
March, it’s going to be a low voter
turnout,” Herrera explained. “They
keep getting it confused with the
city council elections on May 9.”
That’s where the education of the
public and doing the ground work
comes in to play, because, as she
puts it, they keep getting it confused
with the city elections.
Herrera is no stranger to the state
district, having been the Dist. 6
Jefferson Bank Open for
Business on the Southside
Jefferson Bank has arrived on the
Southside of San Antonio, with the
opening of its newest location, at
1111 Goliad Road. This marks Jefferson Bank’s 12th banking center
in current operation, and the first to
be located South of downtown San
Antonio.
The Goliad Road Banking Center
provides a full array of personal and
business banking services, as well
as mortgage and consumer loan
products.
In addition to offering motor bank
convenience, a 24-hour walk-up
ATM will be available to customers
as well. A dedicated community
room will be available for use by
nonprofit organizations.
“We are excited to bring Jefferson Bank to the South Side of San
Antonio,” states Joe De La Garza,
Jefferson Bank’s Senior Vice President for commercial lending. “The
South Side is a dynamic, growing
community -- and we look forward
to serving our current customers in
the area, as well as new ones -- now,
and for years to come.”
Estrella Garcia-Diaz will manage
the Banking Center and be responsible for its daily operations. She will
oversee a team of personal bankers,
tellers, and senior loan officers located
onsite.
Goliad Road Banking Center is
now open for business. Lobby hours
are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through
Thursday, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday.
Motor Bank hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

A Grand Opening is scheduled for
Friday, March 27th at 10am, followed
by a Family Day Open House on
Saturday, March 28 from 10 a.m. - 2
p.m. (weather permitting).
Since 1946, Jefferson Bank has
remained family-owned, serving
the people of San Antonio, New
Braunfels, Boerne, and the Texas Hill
Country. With $1.2 billion in assets
Jefferson Bank is the 3rd largest San
Antonio-based bank. Built on the
pillars of family values, community
service, and the practice of fostering
personal customer relationships, Jefferson’s employees understand the
needs and desires of the communities
and neighbors they serve.

council member for two consecutive
terms representing a large part of
the house district and believes it’s a
natural fit for her to continue to pursue the seat because of all the block
walking she did with Menéndez.
“Once block walking, people
thought I was blocking walking for
myself because they know me,”
she said.
Reemphasizing that she had a
history with a lot of the members
of District 6, so it’s not like she’d
disappeared and came back.
“They always invite me to baby
showers, BBQs and boxing matches
with the Pay-Per-View, so I’m
always there with friends,” she told
La Prensa.
In fact that played a large part in
her decision to run, knowing that
she had continued support and finding out that actually block walking
the district for herself, people are
excited.
Herrera readily admits that when
it comes to winning public office
she’s 1-1. She easily won a couple
of succeeding two-year terms on
the city council before being term
limited out. Her only defeat came
when she sought the Bexar County
Commissioner Precinct 2 post.
One of the questions being asked
is if she’ll get the Firefighter Association endorsement, as she has
in the past elections. Herrera said
that because of that small window
she has to decide on her priorities.
Challenging Herrera is local
Firefighter union Legislative Liaison Nathan Alonzo and criminal
defense attorney, Ina Minjarez.
Surrounded by her family and friends, 41 year old Delicia Herrera
filed the paperwork in Austin on Monday to fill the District 124 House
Seat vacated by José Menéndez who won a special election runoff for

Houston cuts Pro Bowl receiver
By. Kyle Spishock
[email protected]
Wide receiver Andre Johnson
was cut by the Houston Texans on
Monday. No trade deal materialized for the veteran, leaving Houston little choice but to release him.
Arguably the best offensive
weapon in Houston franchise history, Johnson balked at staying
with the team after he was informed
of his limited role in the offense in
the upcoming 2015 season.
In his 12 year tenure with the
Texans, Johnson caught 1012-of-
1273 passes for 13,597 yards and
64 touchdowns.
He holds nearly every Houston
receiving record, and was selected
to the Pro Bowl seven times.
Johnson had two years remaining
on his contract.
$16.1 million of his salary would
have counted against the Texans’
salary cap in 2015, effectively
saving Houston $8.825 million in
cap-space by releasing Johnson
before June 1.
According to Terry Blount of
ESPN, Johnson’s brother tweeted
four desired landing spots for the
receiver. The potential destinations
are the Patriots, Colts, Seahawks,
and Packers.
The narrowed field of candidates
are already packed with offensive
weapons.
As of this reporting, the Indianapolis Colts were the front
running to signing Johnson. The
receiving corps of Indianapolis was
reduced considerably after the departure of veteran Reggie Wayne.
Seattle is the only scenario where
Johnson could be the primary
receiver and avoid restricted play,
despite the Seahawks reliance on WR Andre Johnson practices drills with teammate in training camp
the running game to compensate for last summer. (Courtesy photo)

a knock-out for NBC

nervously in their chairs, pondering
if their investment was a bad one.
However, the main event was a
welcome reprieve from the snoreinducing preliminary.
Keith Thurman (25-0, 21 KOs)
banged up Robert Guerrero (32-31, 18 KOs), winning a unanimous
decision in an exhilarating slugfest.
It was a toe-to-toe fight – Thurman
suffocated with various combinations and pressure, dropping Guerrero in the ninth round.
Thurman connected on 211 of
598 punches (35 percent), and Guerrero landed 104 of 497 (21 percent).
Viewership increased steadily
throughout the broadcast, peaking
at 4.2 million.
Premier Boxing Champions plans
to air 20 fights on various networks
throughout the year.
The series returns this Friday on
Spike TV with a card that includes
Andre Berto (29-3, 22 KOs) taking
on Josesito Lopez (33-6, 19 KOs)
and Shawn Porter (24-1-1, 15 KOs)
against Roberto Garcia (36-3, 23
KOs).
Upcoming bouts on CBS include
Adonis Stevenson (25-1, 21 KOs)
fighting Sakio Bika (32-6-3, 21
KOs) on April 4th, and San Antonio
fan favorite Omar Figueroa (24-0-1,
18 KOs) battling Ricky Burns (374-1, 11 KOs) on May 9th.
NBC’s next fight will take place
April 11 with a double co-main
event featuring Danny Garcia (29-0,
17 KOs) defending his title against
Lamont Peterson (33-2-1, 17 KOs)
and Andy Lee (34-2 24 KOs) slugging it out with Peter Quillin (31-0,
22 KOs).
With fight fans salivating over
the Mayweather/Pacquiao summer
showdown, attention has steadily
been attracted to the sport of boxing.
Looking to capitalize on the
hype, NBC debuted ‘Premier Boxing Champions’ Saturday night at
8:30 p.m. in front of 10,106 fans at
the MGM Grand Garden Arena in
Las Vegas.
The network plans to provide
boxing fans free fights and competitive bouts all year, giving viewers
an attractive alternative to premium
cable matches broadcasted on HBO
and Showtime.
The overnight ratings proved to
be a success, with ‘PBC on NBC’
pulling 3.4 million viewers.
It was the highest watched boxing event since 1998 and garnered
viewership comparable to UFC
broadcasts.
The fight card began with a
snoozer with Adrien Broner (30-1,
22 KOs) outpointing John Molina
Jr. (27-6, 22 KOs) to a unanimous
decision, abusing him like a punching bag beaten with repetitive blows
performed in training routines.
The bout was so terrible, that

Por José I. Franco
[email protected]
el AT&T Center (12 p.m.).
9na NBA “Noche Latina éne•bé•a”.
go Splitter, “Los Spurs” cortaron
central brasileño contestó: “No,
oeste”, dijo Splitter.
Por otra parte, el entrenador
visitante Thibodeau dijo sentirse
contento porque “Los Bulls” hicie
ron un buen partido contra Spurs;
guardia Derrick Rose, quien antes
de entrar en convalecencia por
lesión en su rodilla derecha tenía
marca personal de 18.4 puntos y 5.0
asistencias por partido, y el escolta
Jimmy Butler, quien se recupera
de lesión muscular en su codo
izquierdo.
Comenzamos lentos. Spurs pudo
dominar la primera mitad, nosotros
despuntamos en el tercer y cuarto
periodo; sin embargo, la ofensiva y
defensiva del guardia Tony Parker
ya nos había hecho bastante daño.
Simplemente nos faltó jugar más a
la defensiva”, afirmó el estratega
de los astados.
Los Bulls en el alero español Pau
Gasol tuvieron gran apoyo, pues
Danny Green, quien hizo buenos 3
de 6 disparos triples con 11 puntos
anotados.
En la segunda unidad (suplentes),
el sexto hombre Manu Ginóbili
encestó 5 de 8 tiros al aro, con 1 de
3 triples, 4 rebotes, 2 asistencias, 2
reciben a “King James” LeBron
Spurs juega
dos partidos en el rol regular contra
equipos de la Conferencia del Este,
a la que pertenece Cleveland.
Contra equipos de su conferencia
(oeste) San Antonio juega de 3 a
4 partidos durante la temporada
regular.
