Pedestrian and bicycle access - The contractor will provide pedestrian and bicycle access through a delineated corridor at all times.
This includes access east to west as well as north to south. Pedestrians and cyclists may be escorted through the construction zone.
CENTER PARKWAY CLOSURE
Construction activities related to RT’s Blue Line to
Cosumnes River College (CRC) light rail extension project
will require a complete closure of Center Parkway just
north of Cosumnes River Boulevard (between Cosumnes
River Boulevard and Union House Way) beginning at 8
p.m. on Thursday, February 26, 2015, and continuing until
5 a.m. on Monday, March 2, 2015.
RT will provide updates on Facebook (facebook/
SacramentoRT) and Twitter (@RideSacRT).
RT’s contractor will reconstruct the light rail track panels
across Center Parkway as part of the Blue Line to CRC
project. Work will include curb, gutter and sidewalk in
this area, completely removing the roadway and repaving this section of Center Parkway.
The Blue Line to Cosumnes River College (CRC) light rail
extension is one of the highest priority transit projects in
the region and, once completed, will extend light rail 4.3
miles from the existing terminus at Meadowview Road to
Cosumnes River College.
Motorists are advised to use alternate routes. The
main detour will be Center Parkway to Cosumnes River
Boulevard to Franklin Boulevard to Valley Hi Drive
to Center Parkway, and vice versa. The south exit of
the Bridgeport Condominium complex will be closed.
Residents will need to use the north entrance at Arroyo
Vista Drive instead. Pedestrian and bicycle access on
Center Parkway will be maintained.
The Blue Line to CRC project will add four new light rail
stations (Morrison Creek, Franklin, Center Parkway and
Cosumnes River College); 2,700 park-and-ride spaces; and a
new transit center at the Cosumnes River College Station.
Route 54 (Center Parkway) will be temporarily detoured

Parkway, justo al norte de Cosumnes River Boulevard (entre
Cosumnes River Boulevard y Union House Way) comenzando a las 8

de los trenes livianos se extenderá 4.3 millas desde la terminal
existente en Meadowview Road hasta Cosumnes River College. El
proyecto de la Línea azul hasta CRC agregará cuatro estaciones
nuevas de trenes livianos (Morrison Creek, Franklin, Center Parkway
y Cosumnes River College), 2,700 lugares de estacionamiento y
acceso al transporte público y un nuevo centro de tránsito nuevo en
la estación de Cosumnes River College.
Al extender el servicio de trenes livianos hacia el sur y proporcionar
nuevas oportunidades de estacionamiento y acceso al transporte
