Healing Service
St. Anthony or Padua Church will be having a
healing service on Sunday, March 8th,
beginning at 1:00 pm. The first part of the
service, from 1:00 - 2:00 includes Adoration
of the Most Blessed Sacrament, the Divine
Mercy Chaplet, Rosary, private prayer and
confessions. The second part of the service
includes the Sacrament of anointing of the sick
administered by a Priest, followed by laying on
hands by Mrs. Janet DeBellis, asking our Lord,
through prayer, for physical, spiritual, mental
and emotional healing.
Confessions will
continue during this time. Mrs. DeBellis was
graced through a miracle to receive God's
healing power, to go forth to bring God's
healing love and mercy to others. She has
been commissioned by the Allentown Diocese
for public ministry.
Fasting: All Fridays of Lent are days
of abstinence (no meat). All Catholics
between the ages of 18 and 59 are
obliged to Fast. All Catholics 14 years
and older are obliged to abstain. The
obligation ceases when one begins
his/her 60th year.
Volunteers are needed to make soup
for the Lenten meal. If interested, call the
Parish Center 610-252-7381
Tickets for the Lenten Fish Dinner held
by the Knights of Columbus on Fridays, March
6, 13, 20 & 27 at Father Farrell Hall on
Washington Blvd are available at St. Jane’s
Church office (8 am-4 pm). Adults/$11,
Seniors/$10 Children/$6 (4 & under FREE).
PLEASE PRAY an extra Hail Mary each day for
all the needy, sick, unemployed and troubled.
