NEW RULES
1.- OBJETIVE:
For amateurs around the world to contact other amateurs and exchange QSO information with
as many stations as possible. Any station may work any other station on different bands.
The call will be CQ XE TEST or CQ MEXICO TEST.
2.- CONTEST PERIOD:
Begins 18:00 UTC saturday February 7, 2015 and ends 17:59 UTC sunday February 8, 2015.
The participans can operate the full 24 hours
3.- MODE:
Baudot RTTY only.
4.- BANDS:
All amateur bands, 3.5 to 28 Mhz. (except 10,18 & 24 Mhz.)
5.- ENTRY CATEGORIES:
a) Single Operator All Band Low Power
b) Single Operator All Band High Power.
SO2R Operation Allowed.
6.- EXCHANGE:
• Mexican amateurs: Signal report and State.
• DX: Signal report and serial number, starting with 001
7.- SCORING:
A) QSO Points: Count two points for each completed QSO in the same country. Count three
points for each completed QSO in different country. Count four points with any XE station.
B) Multiplier. Count only once, each México states and Distrito Federal (32 entities) and each
DXCC country in each band worked. México do not count as DXCC country.
8.- LOG INSTRUCTIONS:
A) Electronic log submission ONLY
B) Please submit your log in the Cabrillo file format to: [email protected]
C) Any other email used to send Cabrillo will be ignored
D) We don´t accept any format such as “results sheet” or documents made in Word or Excel.
E) Be sure to put ONLY your station callsign on the subject of the Email.
F) Indicate your category, Low Power or High Power in the cabrillo file
G) Deadline to receive electronic logs is March 10, 2015. After that date will be taken as
Checklog.
H) We suggest to use N1MM logger, because is able to generate Cabrillo file according to
rules; however if any other contest software is used, you can convert your log here: http://
www.sp7dgr.waw.pl/en/converters.php
9.- AWARDS:
Electronic certificates will be to every participant, and will be available to download once the
final results become public. The page to consult results, and download certificates is:
www.rtty.fmre.mx
10.- PENALTY:
Each bad QSO will be removed and a penalty of 3 similar QSO will be applied
11.- FINAL RESULTS:
The final results will be published on the official contest web page: www.rtty.fmre.mx .
